Enniskerry is a charming little village just a few miles outside Dublin in the foothills of the mountains. It has a wonderful antique shop with a friendly and knowledgeable proprietor, a selection of pubs and cafés, and a handful of gift shops. Powerscourt waterfall is nearby, with Powerscourt house and gardens a little further out.

Busy, pretty but few facilities on offer.
Busy, pretty but few facilities on offer. Summer hill house hotel was a big let down, from the numerous sets of keys not working in the door to the dusty cobweb surroundings and poor food, it was definitely not a place I would recommend to anyone!!!!!

Powerscourt has an amazing hotel which is close to the awesome Powerscourt house and gardens .Visited in autumn and the colours were on fire and vibrant .There is also a waterfall nearby for 6 euros entrance fee The backdrop of the Wicklow mountains adds to the ideal scenery .Powerscourt town is quaint with a typical Irish feel To get to Enniskerry from the north of Ireland travel on M50 southbound and then M11 ,you don’t go into Wicklow town centre itself Enniskerry is before this ,a place well worth a memorable visit .
We really enjoyed our stay at Powerscourt Hotel over the Christmas period, it is a spectacular hotel and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The lounge area is so relaxing and beautiful to sit in. our room was lovely with a lovely view. Our meal in the Sika restaurant was delicious & service was super.
It was beautifully clean throughout, the decor and furnishings were of a lovely quality and the surroundings were absolutely stunning. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. We could not fault this hotel and really enjoyed our stay.
Clean. Modern bathroom. Good location for the powerscourt waterfall and homes, and Dublin. Enniskerry is a very cute little village. The cafe along the street is very good.
Good if you like to drink in the pub until late, the pub did look decent.
The owner was very friendly and helpfully giving us great ideas of places to eat and visit. Excellent location only a 5 minute walk to Enniskerry and fantastic views of the Wicklow mountains
