It’s stunning from the moment you enter through the gate and when the castle suddenly arises in the distance it takes your breath away! This is a proper castle with everything one imagines a castle to be. The dinner was excellent and creative, all locally sourced.

Hotel was exceptional as were the staff. However the booking process caused some problems. I was sure I had included breakfast with my booking. That was not the case. I would ask booking.com to make it clearer to permit the booking of breakfast not merely that this is available at the location, but to actually allow me to include it with my original booking more

The breakfast was superb; the waiters are considerate to give a pot of tea or coffee upon request and the buffet had not left me with an empty stomach. The leisure facilities are also exceptional and the staff are more than happy to guide me through their way of operation. Although I chose to go in for the most quieter times before closure. The bar food is also great.

We enjoyed a nice light breakfast brought to our room by our host Michael each morning. Michael renovated the coach house, very well and tastefully done. The Shower was lovely. We enjoyed playing with Juno their dog. Michael was a wealth of information, places to see and things to do. We enjoyed our evenings at Moran’s pub across the street, Hi to Mary Moran! The only issue we found with the "bed" was not the beds themselves, they were very comfortable but as we discovered throughout the rest of our journey through Ireland, no matter where we stayed, 4 star hotel, Airbnb, etc. the comforters were too warm. And the comforters are your only option for a cover while sleeping. I would still stay at the Coachhouse again in a heartbeat, I felt at home. A very quaint and peaceful place to lay your head.
