It was everything I expected from a genuine Irish hotel. Everything had flair and looked like it was in the right place. The pubs and restaurants are originally Irish with live music in the evening and a great variety of drinks. The location was central, everything was in walking distance. Great day trips in the great Irish scenery. The rooms were clean and comfortable and to my surprise the hotel had an elevator. I enjoyed my stay and would book it again.
In the heart of Clonakilty, this luxury hotel has a leisure center with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room. With a modern restaurant and bar, the beautiful coastline is just 10 minutes away by car....

Rey family friendly, it was busy but the staff were fully capable of managing the numbers. The hotel is extremely well equipped to deal with families, all wants/needs were catered for. Best experience in a hotel so far with kids. They were so accommodating and friendly.

The 2 pods we stayed at were wonderful. Very cabiny - super clean inside, adorably decorated with a perfectly landscaped setting- it was all just very inviting. We were traveling with family so we greatly enjoyed the 2 neighboring pods and a fun evening around the fire pit with trivia games provided. (ALDIs fire logs worked great)
Only drawback was i didn’t know how to turn on the hot water for the shower ~ the red switch outside the door I found was the secret afterwards- this was the only issue whatsoever - not knowing the switch was there. The stay felt very private - but would have loved also the chance to meet Paula - and thank her in-person for a lovely stay. Will recommend and will return! Thank you 😊

Clonakilty was recommended to us by a friend as she had visited with family on a holiday. Loved this little seaside town, which had plenty to offer in the way of things to see and do. We could easily have spent a few days here happily, relaxing or looking for a bit to get out and do. I feel that as travellers on an international trip, it gave us a great opportunity to experience what I saw as the real Ireland - a true little town which held such history and a passion for its people. Would recommend anyone to go and spend some time there.

I was there to attend a wedding.
I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.

Great town with lots of pride and several fun cultural experiences. The Clonakilty Black Pudding Visitors Center was great. The Clonakilty Distillery is a great tour and tasting experience. The downtown is cute and walkable. The people are kind and it's central to many great communities nearby.

Fab little town, everything is so close together.
Fab little town, everything is so close together. Really wished we'd stayed longer & are already planning a return in the Summer. Didn't eat in any of the restaurants as we only ate in the hotel but the menus of many of the eateries looked great!

Lovely quaint old world charm town.
Lovely quaint old world charm town. Very colourful and clean. Great selection of shops and information of things to see and do in the area. Take the train for a tour around the town for all ages. Lovely location as a base for exploring deeper into west Cork or just relaxing in one of the many beaches in the area. If you get the weather there is no place to beat this part of Ireland.

Fun, friendly town, with lots of cute pubs and really good restaurants.
Great taxi service, Nial Johnson has electric luxury cars for regular price, really fun. Dinner at Camus with guest chef, Caitlin Ruth was amazing.
You don't need a car, bus goes all the way to cork and past Skibbereen.
Once again this hotel does not disappoint. The level of service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The kitchen team produce wonderful fresh food every time. The location is ideal with easy access to the great coastline of West Cork, beaches and fishing villages.
We were attending a wedding in Dunmore House Hotel. We checked in early to get dressed for wedding. Joan was very welcoming. She gave us tea and biscuits . Would stay again if we are in the area. Excellent location 🏝️
The hotel is nicely done in the main areas. The pool is quite large, even if half of it was used for swimming lessons at the time we were there, The restaurant is a good option to have dinner too.
The welcome at reception was fantastic as well as the atmosphere which was helped by traditional music on Tuesday nights. The hotel and the town were a real taste of Ireland.
