The location was so convenient I canceled a booking at another facility for my return to Dublin and booked into the Academy Plaza again! Even though construction was going on on the ground floor, my rooms were small but very quiet and comfortable. In my second room I had trouble with the heating and a staff member brought a space heater to me. It never did get warm so I ran the space heater the entire time. But everything else was great.

I always stay at the Cloghran the day before flying out of...
I always stay at the Cloghran the day before flying out of Dublin...it makes it so much easier than the hecticness of the long trip to the airport then flying out the the same day. Arriving at the hotel, having a nice meal, and a comfortable bed takes the hectic ness out of travel.

Our trip was only an overnight stay as we arrived into Dublin airport very late at night. We had to travel onward to our destination next day so we didn't even have time for breakfast next morning as we had a train to catch but we felt refreshed after our sleep

The brown water coming out of the shower and faucets was alarming and having to change rooms at 11 pm was disruptive but the Manager was kind and concerned. I wondered if we would get some kind of discount for this situation but I don't seen that happening.

Hotels was very classic, everything very clean, needs more staff, very busy at our time there. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. Only bar open for dinner supper time, not much selection but very good food.

To have a place to crash after and before flight is convenient. Not enough access to restaurant option. Not easy to get aroud from the airport hotel. Do not think of doing some work while you are in your room because there is no sufficient lighting that will enable you to.

The hotel has it's own shuttle service which is very convenient if you have an early flight from Dublin airport.
The room was clean and fresh so I do recommend this hotel for short stay period, 1 or 2 nights.
Excellent location if flying from Dublin airport. Rooms spacious and clean. The shower in the bedroom was the best I have encountered. Would highly recommend this hotel if travelling from Dublin airport
Nice, comfortable hotel close to Dublin Airport (walkable in 30 mins or there is a courtesy shuttle) and on the main Dublin Bus route between the city and Swords. Wi-fi worked well.
