Booked on the day and had a suite, which was expensive but very comfortable, and I enjoyed it. Liked the greeting card and cake to have with tea in the room. Also we had fun with the record player. Overall the room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was great.

Loved everything. We missed our original booking because I was taken into hospital. We counted our loss but then the hotel phoned to see if everything was ok because we missed our booking. I told them about my hospitalisation and they offered us a booking for two weeks later, same room, Junior suite at no extra charge.
The room was spacious and spotless. The bed couldn't be more comfortable, the view was amazing and the shower huge! The free buffet breakfast, a choice of cooked AND continental, was so substantial we joked that we could have rolled back to our room.
The staff fell over each other to be of assistance. We arrived at 12:30 thinking we would just leave our bags and go for a walk until 3:00 but they checked us in straight away. When we were asked if we could move tables in the bar to accommodate the musician they offered us a free round for the "inconvenience".
Will definitely be returning!

Barna was a great spot to stay, right amount of restaurants close by although we did have a bad experience in the Donnelly’s but O’Grady on the pier seafood restaurant was amazing. The drive to salt hill was 10 minutes away and silverstrand beach was a beautiful.

There was no parking problem.
It was easy to access Galway city and Salthill.
The way to the west, including Connemara and Clifden was very picturesque in places.
Following the "Wild West Trail" was very worthwhile. Took about two hours slow travel time from Barna.

Very pretty small village near Atlantic coast. Most places have seaview or mountains. Donnellys was great with lovely food and live Irish music. A few pubs and other restaurants also nearby. Seafood restaurant near seafront. Supermarket and cafes nearby to b&bs.

The highlight has to be our stay in Twelve Hotel, a must for any visitors to Barna.
The food and service in the West Restaurant in the Twelve hotel was incredible.
The host of the property went above and beyond in helping us settle in and enjoy the property and it's facilities during our stay!
The rooms were perfect and the sea view across to the islands was beautiful.
Being located a few minutes drive from Barna meant we were close to several restaurants, cafes and shops, which suited us perfectly.
Dan and Sarah are such lovely hosts. They were so informative with great ideas on where to dine in the city and in the local area of Barna. We loved the modern farmhouse feel to the property. The area inside was bright, spacious and very nicely decorated.
