From the moment we drove up we knew we were in for a special night for our last night in Ireland.
The staff were so welcoming, the castle is stunning, our room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfortable. Our dinner was amazing and our breakfast was fabulous. We would definitely recommend staying at Kilkea Castle if you are visiting Ireland

1) The food: we had 2 superb lunches. 2) The staff: went out of their way to take care of us. Carless, we were attending a wedding at another property seven miles away on what (unknown to us) was the busiest weekend of the summer--taxis were not available. Joanna Fennel arranged for a staff member to shuttle us to the wedding events. 3) the ambiance of the working farm and the garden-to-table ethos; and 4) the bed was really comfortable.

Great staff and new Bar/Restaurant. Nothing to fault within the hotel. The services was second to none throughout my stay. I cannot wait to go back.
We just went for a quite night away. We were able to drive to one of the shops n come back and relax with food and wine. Bathroom is lovely and has a lovely selection of shampoos/ conditioners Incase you forgot yours(we did!). Ideal to arrive with food and drinks and wrap up for the evening.
