Though we arrived on an over cast day, scenery was stunning.

Though we arrived on an over cast day, scenery was stunning. Beautiful clean beaches. We took a short drive to the local waterfall. Very easy to access. Hotel areas were clean and bright, particularly the bar. Toilets were immaculate. The hotel also has good parking which is free. Staff friendly and helpful.

Loved the beach and coast walks that are kept clean by locals. Coffee van at beach and plenty of picnic tables. Children play area too. There's a lovely restaurant next to hotel Nancy's Barn, great day time food. Seems to be lots of holiday makers and golfers around.

Ideal base for exploring Malin Head and even the Portrush...

Ideal base for exploring Malin Head and even the Portrush area by use of the ferry. Great beaches in the area for walks and the 36 hole golf complex is as good as it gets. Obviously, the weather will have a bearing in what you do but a trip to Derry or possibly Bushmills could fill in a wet day.

The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The vegetables were always cooked to perfection which is often overlooked when catering for a large number of diners. The vegetables were also presented while very hot and they were clean, no butter or oils added, absolutely excellent. The accompanying fish and meat was superb. We ate in the hotel most nights. The breakfast was very good also.
