This is a perfect place to get away and unplug, enjoy the quiet and incredible scenery. All the while you’re being taken care of by the nicest woman alive. Margaret was an amazing host and even sent us on our way with a lovely soda bread snack for the rest of our drive. The room had a very comfortable bed, amazing view out to the water, and we slept so very well. Would stay again and would recommend!

This was our third time staying at Ardagh. It’s a wonderful gem in Clifden. The owners and staff are WONDERFUL. The views are BEAUTIFUL and the food is OUTSTANDING. The bathrooms had been updated since we stayed last time and they were much nicer. We loved the lounge area and the smell of the fire. We loved the resident dog and enjoyed sitting outside with a cocktail.

For me what makes Kilronan special was the location to Keogh's and it's superb seafood on your doorstep !
Also the house itself looked at on a beautiful lake and each room was full of light.
Sands hotel and the coral beaches are very close , both prime spots to go in the area.
Lastly the host really wants feedback and acts upon your suggestions so as to make it an even better house for the next guest .
Located right on the main road between Roundstone and Ballyconneely, this lovely cottage is a great base for exploring Connemara. The house is modern, clean and well maintained. We stayed in winter and it was warm, dry and cosy. It could easily accommodate larger families or groups. It’s a ten minute walk to the nearest town (Ballyconneely) but in a car everything is easily accessible.
