I got there late. The staff, Gary, couldn't do enough for me. He cooked an amazing meal for me even though the Kitchen had closed. It was the best meal I have eaten in a hotel. I travel a lot for work and use a lot of hotels.
Although, the hotel is slightly dated, the room was ENORMOUS. The bathroom was Enormous. The bed was soooo comfortable.
Breakfast (delicious) is served carvery style by 2 lovely ladies. Staff make a hotel. And the staff here are wonderful.
I will ALWAYS use this one when in that area.

The cottage was just lovely with everything you need for self catering accommodation. Very comfortable bed and extremely peaceful with a field of cows for neighbours. It was a little tricky to find well off the beaten track but once there not to be regretted. Remember to take your supplies milk etc as nearest shop a car journey again. Over all just a lovely little oasis 😊
