The hotel is a low-rise white building located among fields and with views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel's main attraction is the large pool which is a hot 'onsen' rather than a cool swimming pool and was a very comfortable refuge from the cool and rainy highland weather when we were there. The room, bathroom and breakfast were all satisfactory. The broad corridors and white decor create a spacious, well-ventilated feel.

We are so glad to have chosen rimba eco. The room was so nice. From the balcony we could see the volcano. And the room is very clean and comfy. We had an amazing experience doing the highland tour. The homestay is located in a lovely garden with some fishing ponds and flowers centrally but quietly located in Tomohon. The host was great and provided me with a pickup late at night from Manado, showed me around the area and also dropped me off at the airport. Communication was easy via WhatsApp. Would totally stay here again and longer than the one night I had this time. Tomohon is a great and totally worth a visit for a few days if not more and this is an affordable place to explore it.
