Very clean accommodation with super friendly owner and staff. Perfectly situated for our early morning start to snorkel with the whale sharks.

It’s located out of town with no services nearby. Very calm and relaxing compared with all the hustle and bustle of Bali. We had a two room cottage with large covered veranda. Room was decent size. Bathroom was good (except for unattached toilet seat). Large pool with ocean view. Restaurant was good with sufficient variety of foods. Good complimentary breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The interior of the rooms, the lightening placement and other small details like how the rooms were separated, awoke our creative minds. We produced a lot of music.

Good starting point for tours in the area; I don't think there is as much to do in the city. I recommend Sumbawa Holiday Tours... great company and willing to accommodate; I did a one-day tour swimming with whale sharks that was incredible. Book any tours in this area in advance (do not rely on your hotel unless they give you specifics in advance... best to do it yourself). The multi-day tours seem great... wish I had done one! This area is tricky for solo travelers (especially female)... it seems like nearly all tours are private, which can feel uncomfortable or unsafe. I was fine, but I would have preferred group tours... I hope Sumbawa companies can make this change to make tours more affordable and easier to meet others.
