Nice little hotel, just 5 min walking from Selong Blanak Beach. The service and staff are great, and they try to help you with everything you need. The food is also good and they have free water to refill your waterbottles. The room and comonn spaces are all very clean.

A very cosy, comfortable and good value “inn” - misnamed as these are not “villas” but 8 individual, good sized rooms with ensuite (partly outdoor), which all look directly onto a shared central pool. The bedrooms are fully air-conditioned with minibar and tea and coffee making facilities, and cable TV. Great large bed and nicely furnished. Quite a long walk to the beach - 10 -15 minutes to Selong Belanak- but so worth it - the best beach we came across on the island.
The inn itself occupies quite a small plot and the pool is shaded most of the day, which is fine. The cafe/restaurant is on the main road so a little noisy when eating breakfast, but the bedrooms are to the back of the property. Staff members were super friendly, efficient and helpful, and rooms were very reasonably priced including breakfast.
Breakfast was tasty but you could only have one item off the menu, along with local coffee (you had to pay extra for specialist coffee, which was very good) or tea and mixed juice, whereas other places we have stayed also supplied a fruit platter along with chosen breakfast.
We did not eat dinner here as not taken with the atmosphere - televisions playing sport and surfing programmes. There is a great place just across the road which we would highly recommend called Club Kembali…
All in all, a lovely place to stay with good sized rooms and a nice pool to dip into immediately from your room. Good value for money and really friendly and efficient staff.

Absolutely beautiful beach. Waves can be big at times and lots of people go there for surfing. It was very clean compared to other Indonesian beaches I have been to.. Just be careful if you’re not a strong swimmer. You can hire a sun lounge for $10 per day with an umbrella however the only toilets are at the restaurant further along and you need to buy something to use them. They have been bags out the front so it’s a great place to watch the sunset. Best parking is along near the restaurant but you need to ask staff to open the gate. The food at the restaurant is good and the gift shop attached to the resort has some lovely things. We also used the spa attached to the resort and it was brilliant.

I fell in love with this beach at the first sight! I had visited the beach years ago, one time only for lunch at laut biru restaurant. And I kept dreaming to stay in the nearest resort (sempiak villas) ever since. Thankfully I got the chance couple of years later.
This was the best beach I'd ever been to in my life. White, soft and clean sand, blue water, clear sky, amazing sunset.
The beach was also not very crowded. There were no pushy bracelet or coconut sellers.
The only thing that I personally was not comfortable was the presence of dogs, since I'm a moslem and touching dog's considered "dirty". However, most of them were property's pet and well trained. And the amount of them was not as many as in Bali.

The nicest beach in this area, lot of sunbeds and umbrellas, lot of food options in reasonable prices. You can buy some surfing lessons for beginners. Sand is nice and soft, we had some very relaxing time there.

A very clean beach, fantastic for learner surfers, excellent Warangs with extremely friendly staff. Most of the boards hired are softboards so it keeps it safe for all on the waves and the instructors are extremely attentive and supportive. Good food, cold beer, lots of loungers- all you need for an excellent day at the beach. Also a fantastic place for sunset!

This could be a great beach but they have people driving...
This could be a great beach but they have people driving their bikes racing on the beach. And like Bali the beach is covered in trash as is south Lombok. It is looking like it will suffer the same issues as Bali. We are not tourists. We live in Indonesia.

I've been coming to Selong Belanak for a number of years and love the place. It's the perfect beach for families and the area is still nice and quiet so no loud pumping music and beach clubs...yet.
