Very beautifully designed villa, all wood inside & out. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning and you don't have to go anywhere.
The bathroom is really nice & fully equipped even with a hair dryer.
There are lots of power plugs everywhere, lots of storage in the room and the bathroom for all your things & clothes.
There's a mini fridge stocked with various drinks (mini bar), and there are lights for outdoors too if you like to chill outside at night.
Ketut (the owner) is super helpful, friendly and responsive via text.
The included breakfast was really good! We tried the fruit salad and the Nasi Goreng, very tasty and the fruit is super fresh!
The location is also really nice, you're not far from lots of great restaurants and warrungs but also you're in a nice & quiet area away from any noise.
Just be mindful that if you don't have your own ride, you will not find a Grab or Gojek after sunset, but the locals are super nice and you can ask staff to take you back if you're stuck.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, thank you Ketut for your amazing hospitality and generosity and in making our stay as comfortable as possible.

I never wanted to leave! We stayed in the riverside Villa which was so lovely. So clean and had doors that opened to the outside so you could enjoy nature from the comforts of the comfy bed or couch. The bathroom is the only space you can’t completely enclose and bugs/critters were no issue to us besides a couple harmless lizards in the kitchen. The staff was absolutely incredible, the restaurant provided solid food options, the spa was nice and convenient. They provide cultural classes which I loved doing the offering class! The grounds are so serene and beautiful. location was super convenient to anything we wanted to do in the area. The rice field trekking right down the road was a highlight of the trip. Staff helped with scooter rental and car services whenever needed. Really, everything was perfect. I loved it so much.

We were lucky to be in the king room with the nice view on the mountain. The room was spacious, with AC and a little balcony. There was drinking water in the room which was great. The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was the usual eggs, toast and fruit platter, very good. The pool was nice :) Location was good, with a few nice options for eating and drinking. Recommend Nivriti for local grown food, very tasty!

Cozy wooden house on the nature with the nice view. Hosts were very kind and friendly. Road is decent, no extreme driving at night. Quiet village, not too touristy but enough places. Above that I lost my laptop adapter and staff was very nice to find it and text me to return

This is a rural part of Bali that is slowly developing. I emphasise the word "slowly". It is great to relax and walk around, explore on foot or by motorbike. There are quite a few nice little cafes and restaurants, spas, silver shops, and of course lovely views of the ricefields, the river and the mountains.

So wonderfully quiet and tranquil.
So wonderfully quiet and tranquil. It is a place to go if you enjoy quiet relaxation, walking, hiking, trekking and friendly locals. There isn’t much night life outside of your and other hotels (not many stand alone restaurants) but that suited us just fine! There is some shopping but not much. It really is a lovely quiet place to visit to get away from the crazy hustle and bustle of other popular tourist destinations in Bali.

I choose to stay in Sideman since I heard it was more like the Ubud of 20 years ago (when I first started coming to Bali). And yes, it has a less-touristy vibe, although there are certainly things to do (silver jewelry making classes, cooking classes, rice paddy walks). But it is quieter, which is what I was looking for. The one thing that is important to know is that at the time of this writing, there is no ATM in the village. I wish I would have known this in advance, as many shops do not take credit cards, or if they do, it comes with extra fees. Had I known this I would have taken out more cash at the airport on arrival to make sure I had sufficient.

Small rural village that has not been spoilt by tourism.
Small rural village that has not been spoilt by tourism. Beautiful scenery and friendly locals. Lots of small warungs and massage options. Range of accommodation from budget to luxury.
Great coffee at 9am@ Giri Carik.
Likely the most beautiful spot in Bali. We stayed in family room one, which was very large and had a huge balcony with a stunning view. The garden is amazing and well kept. The restaurant has a good menu and a nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Actually, I’m amazed that we payed this little for this quality.
We used grab to get a driver, that was cheaper than the hotel.
Tip: visit the Sidemen Swing! The spot is stunningly beautiful and unlike the places around Ubud, it was quiet. My son was allowed to swing for half an hour!
The view was amazing! The village was very calm and very beautiful.
The staff was so nice and friendly, we loved their hospitality.
If you go to Bali and want to enjoy the calmness and peacefullness of the island, you need to visit Sidemen. The rice terraces were gorgeous! And you can rent a scooter from the hotel to visit the nearby temples or just ride freely in the picturesque neighbourhood.
I would love to come back to the same place!
What an amazing hotel. The rooms/villas all have a great outside space with an amazing view! The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacecious and clean.
The hotel is located in between the ricefields and has a beautifull garden.
The surroundings are amazing and Sidemen is a great place from which you can visit a lot of temples/waterfalls.
Breakfast is good and the staff is most friendly and provide good suggestions. Keep up the good work!
This is a small hotel own by two young brothers sited in Sidemen’s heart. Fresh fruits served every morning, room is cleaned every day, the mattress is amazing, hot water, you can only hear the garden and the small river that goes by the hotel. Lovely people. If you want to explore the real Bali, just stay there. And they also do any kind of tours.
Excellent location in the heart of Sidemen valley. Rooftop gazebo has sweeping views of the terraces in surrounding hills and imposing Mount Agung. Just steps away from the rice terrace trail. Spacious and clean room, lovely host family. Great value.
