We booked Kanvaz Village Resort based on reviews and it was awesome. Once inside the hotel you cannot hear the busy main street of Seminyak at all, the whole hotel had a lovely relaxed and modern vibe about it. The pool access rooms are definitely worth the money as you have your own sun beds! The staff at this hotel are absolutely AMAZING, I mentioned this to the manager of duty on the day of our departure as they deserve a very special mention. Every staff member was outstanding and wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. Breakfast was of such high quality and lots of selection, would highly recommend staying at this boutique Resort and would 100% return

For us it was just a stop over as we were heading north after dropping family at the airport in the afternoon and I don’t like driving over the mountains at night on the way to Singaraja.Nothing to see there just used car lots but across the road was a supermarket and a couple of warungs for local food.There is no restaurant at the hotel,both Kuta and Canggu are a 45 minute drive away from hotel if you are familiar with gojek delivery you can order food in and there is a kitchen by the pool where you can eat in pleasant surroundings. It is 3stars but 5stars for value for money.Will definitely use this hotel for our stopover place in the future.

What to improve: Grun should do fogging for insects regularly. The insects in this place were unbelievable there were too many. And most importantly, we found more than 5 tomcats inside the bath room and bed room! It’s very dangerous for family who come with kids.
