The customer service was outstanding. As we celebrated our anniversary, the hotel already gave us a free upgrade on our room, that's what we discovered at arrival. After they noticed that my wife sprained her ancle, they offered us another upgrade free of charge so that she didn't had to walk the stairs. Also they treated us on a anniversary cake and last but not least, they offered us to prepare fresh mackerel for diner although not on the menu.

Harry and his wife were very friendly and helpful.
Harry drove me to his other guesthouse at Watu Karung where I stayed for 3 nights also.
I appreciated being able to use the kitchen facilities and get water refills.
The guesthouse is simple but nice and directly across the road from the beach.

The staff is a family, and they were very nice people. I was the only one at the hostel, since it wasn't a surfing either dry season. But they shared their food with me, spent time playing games, so i felt very taken care of. They even took me for an event at a different beach, it was fun. I was also allowed to use their bicycle when I needed to go and buy something. There's a kitchen that I could use, many ropes to hang your clothes, lots of social areas to chill, a beautiful mango tree and a garden. Tea, coffee and drinking water are available.

A small town with plenty of interesting places to visit. If you like beaches, Pacitan is the right place. The people are very friendly to visitors and very helpful too. I would recommend that you rent a motorbike to get around the town.
