The best place we have stayed in Bali, and we have stayed in 15 + hotels before. Exceptionally clean, rooms are big, light and spacious, with new furniture.Villa has great design (pictures do not reflect how nice it is), rooftop where you can practice yoga (and you can be given a yoga mat even!). There is a pool with clean fresh water, it is a pleasure to swim there during a hot day. The hosts are extremely welcoming and nice, it was a pleasure to communicate with them, they told us a lot about Balinese culture. We loved this place so much that we moved our next destination dates to spend a bit more time here. Also I have to mention that the villa has a pretty good wifi connection, convenient for remote work. Will definitely come back in a few weeks to spend more time here!

Lovina is quiet and that’s about it. We have stayed there twice now and there’s not much to do. We’ve had a go at the dolphins. Fantastic if you don’t mind the sound of around 200 small outboards at 6am in the morning. It was very underwhelming.
Other than that there’s not much to do. Beaches are filled with trash so there’s very little swimming to be had

I was expecting to be able to go for swims but the beach is dirty and the water is worse. Took two trips from here. One to see the dolphins which is a sad experience. Far too may boats ( I counted about one hundred) literally chasing the dolphins as they surface. I also went to a day trip to Menjangan Island snorkeling site and this was very good.

We love Lovina.
We love Lovina. The beach is close and the sunset cocktails are affordable. There are heaps of nice Warungs/Restaurants within walking distance and the snorkelling day trip with the local deer at lunch time was amazing. Lovina isn't packed with loud partying tourists so has a very cool, chilled vibe. Definitely worth a visit 👌

It was a beautiful and quiet place! The rooms were all air conditioned and quite spacious. The view was extraordinary and so was the service from the manager. He made sure he brought us whatever we needed. The place also has a breathtaking view of the sunset!

Lovina is far from the airport and prices are commensurately...
Lovina is far from the airport and prices are commensurately lower. We spent 2 days there and swam with the dolphins, snorkled the reef, visited 4 waterfalls, and a buddhist temple. It's away from the crazy bustle around Denpasar and was lovely. Bit tougher to find things like ATMs or grocery stores as a result, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the trip.

Lovina beach is a black sand beach, during the sunrise you can have a nice swim in warm, clear water.
In the evening you can enjoy sunset views, while having dinner at the beach or just a nice walk.
Favourite hotel I have stayed in since I’ve been travelling. Firstly, the family that run it are absolutely lovely. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfy with good aircon. The food they serve is also really tasty and reasonably priced. We booked a dolphin tour with them and had the best time. Although Lovina is very quiet we didn’t mind staying in the hotel and sitting by the pool as it was so lovely. They also arranged a taxi for us back to Canggu at a very good price. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay again.
We had a great stay at Villa Agung! Our room was spacious and very clean, bed comfy, WiFi was good and the pool amazing. The beach in front of the Hotel is beautiful and much more private than Lovina beach/other beaches nearby. Breakfast was delicious, we even got homemade bread.
Staff was great and the lady who owns the place was very nice and warmly welcomed us. Also, she allowed us to spend some more time by the pool even after official checkout time!
Don't look any further, this is the place to stay at. Two thumbs up!
This is an exceptional little place to stay. An older style accommodation, but very clean. Beds remade every day with fresh sheets. Huge outdoor bathroom. Host Deanne and Gosta, friendly and most helpful. Pool and garden beautiful. The ocean right out front of the villas. Sit every evening and have a cocktail watching the local children play in the ocean and the superb sunsets... Lovina generally a much slower and relaxed atmosphere compared to southern Bali regions.

Gede and family went above and beyond for my friends and I. We were greeted with smiling faces each morning. Breakfast was a lovely touch each morning. The villa was very clean, spacious, and pool area was well kept and beautiful to relax in! Cannot fault a thing about our stay - we even booked an extra night!
We spend a very nice week in The HAMSA. Staff is very nice with the residents, they do all the best for you ! Food is perfect 😝 We wanted to thank you all !! Thanks to Stephan too (the owner). Scooter for rent in the hotel, 10 minutes to go downside, perfect place to relax and be near everything (waterfalls, center, Lovina beach). If you want to visit north of Bali, stay here ! 😊
