My host Ali and his lovely family were brilliant. The food was great and Ali facilitated a trip to his local school ( he is an English teacher) which was a truly memorable experience I felt like a celebrity. Also we did trips to the national park by bike and to meet Ali’s farming family and sit and have breakfast with them in the fields of corn and dragon fruit. The accommodation was clean and top quality. I also learnt about the repopulation of the mangrove trees and how they stop sea erosion and future tsunamis.
