Amazing views, staff is very friendly. It was a nice time - staff who played guitar and sang - that was something totally amazing :-) In addition, great organization of trekking in search of orangutans - it worked!!! I recommend it to all who like contact with nature.

Desi the manager is so friendly and helpful, she and her team are always smiling and ready to help. Communication before and during my stay was excellent and she organised my jungle trek for me with a great guide called Ronnie and my onward transport. The room was simple yet lovely with a nice view and balcony. They also provide a drinking water fountain in the room which is a nice touch.

The Jungle Guide is such a good organization. They organize trips through the jungle with stays in the jungle. the guides grew up in the jungle and share their knowledge Their english is well and they even organize karaoke evenings or play games with you in the jungle (card tricks etc). It was so much fun, I learnt a lot and I saw the Orang Utans in wild life, also many other monkey. Their lodge is placed at a hill over the river. The bungalows are simple, with a very comfortable bed. I will defetly go back.
Set in Bukit Lawang, Sahnan Guest House has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, and organising tours for guests.

Bukit Lawang is a busy little village on the river bank which is great for rafting and swimming. The jungle trekking is excellent and you ordinarily get to see Orangutans which is amazing. The food is good for the price. The people are amazing. The Ida hotel has got everything sorted. They arranged a taxi from the airport (journey approx 4 hours) and our Jungle Trekking which all ran smoothly.

It is a nice place.
It is a nice place. We managed to see Orangutanges and lot of makakies, rubber plantation and jungle. Also walked around on the streets of Bukit Lawang. People in this village are very friendly, always smiling and trying to chat with you, even when not speaking english. As usual in this country, you can meet lot of rollers and smoking men. Roller drivers are very respectful for pedestrians, that was nice.
Other side of the river were some good restaurants, good food, fresh juices, cold beer.

Here is my review to post for Thomas Leaf-
I had an exceptional time staying here. The staff went above and beyond in every way. The place has a great vibe, the food was delicious, the rooms were very clean and comfy, and they even were able to expedite my laundry and clean it in a few hours.
We played guitar, laughed, and enjoyed time under the shared cabana. They helped facilitate all my travels and activities and were so warm and inviting.
10 out of 10 recommend!

We love everything about this place.
We love everything about this place. It's our second visit and I would come back anytime. The location is spectacular and the views from the room are amazing. Such a haven of peace and quiet. You can cool down in the river just in front of the property. The jungle trek is highly recommended. Such a beautiful rainforest and seeing orangutans up close in their natural habitat is certainly very memorable. The staff is also great and helpful. Rizky always smiles, Julie always happy to help, Arif always ready to show you the treasures of the jungle. If I remembered all the names, I would list them here too. The room is comfortable and as described. This place really is a gem!

I loved how the bungalow was away from the river and close to the park. Saw wildlife around the bungalow. I didn't like that I had to ride a motorbike without a helmet for the village excursion.
