Do not underestimate how cold the Bedugul area can be…pack a jacket!! I loved the electric blanket, heated towel rail and the fact that the shower was almost instantly hot when you opened the tap.
The room is not massive but there’s more than enough space. I loved the fact that there was so much cupboard space.
The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assisted with everything we needed (even when I needed a tailor to fix my broken handbag!)
We rented scooters from them - all good.
I loved the resident cat!!
This is not a very big hotel and you never feel
surrounded by loads of people. Their seating area at the lake (where you could also order food & drinks) very peaceful and really special.

Everything. Beautiful place, quiet, big room, comfortable bed, good breakfast and super friendly staff. The place is far away of restaurants but they have a good menu with reasonable price.
We were with their driver full day and he was amazing with all kind of explanations and details about Balinese culture.

Bedugul is more than just the temple on the lake, which is always crowded. There are other areas such as the waterfalls and treks that dot the area. A visit to Bedugul should always include a day trip to the Botanical gardens which covers a large area (157 hectares) and has specific exhibits for various plant groups such as ferns and orchids. The gardens are at an elevation of about 1300m and temperatures in the day would be a very comfortable 19-24C outside the raining season.

With amazing weather and multiple picturesque locations in and around, Bedugul is a must visit for people looking to explore the REAL Bali.
I have been to Bali twice and find Kuta/Seminyak/Nusa Dua and the other most frequented places to be too touristy and commercial. You will enjoy every bit of the humble hospitality that the Balinese have to offer when you explore the unexplored!
The locals treat you like royalty and are the most polite of indigenous population I have come across throughout my little travel across the world

bedugul has limited offerings. good passing thru spot. the temple is disappointing and the market has quite a lot of possible purchases but the shop owners are very pushy.
the botanical gardens and the lovely garden centre lined street leading up are worth a wander.

We stayed in Bedugul and went to Jatiluwih rice's fields and around.
Find Pak Gede with his family @FarmLand and experience with him how to plant rice and listen to his love of Mother Earth!!!
Unforgettable experience for us and our 2 children (12 and 11y old)!
The views, the “adventures” feeling, in the forests’ and mountain feeling, the most friendly host Agus, Putu and the staffs;
The delicious foods, the large eggs, the coffee, the SPECIAL VEGGIES, the free FRUITS gifts, the Special Order “Chicken feet” are very delicious.
The location is close to Bedugul Botanical Garden and Beratan Lake.
There was beautiful garden with many flowers, and beautiful chickens walking through a field of flowers.
There were rest areas on the roof overlooking the lake.
Beautiful Ulun Danu Bratan Park is front of the hotel. We could visit before it got crowded with group tourists.
The restaurant didn’t have wine, but we could bring wine.
This is such an awesome place to stay and the view is breathtaking. The location is good, short walk to Botanical garden and lake. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A must stay in Bedugul. The breakfast is also delicious.
But if you are not very mobile, best to avoid as there are many steps.
Beautiful large very green area of the hotel. Lots of tropical plants. The bungalows are very comfortable. There is a restaurant where you can eat delicious food. The staff offered us transfers and excursions. We all liked it very much.
Spectecular view and landscape at the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. Plentiful selection of food at breakfast. Food was very tasty both at breakfast and dinner.
