The tour we got from Kristian around Bajawa was great! Breakfast here was very nice (choose from omelet, pancake, and noodles options and some fruit). There was a water tank for refilling your bottle and making tea and coffee throughout the day. The room has no airconditioning but you do not need it in the cool weather in Bajawa. The homestay is very close to a street with nice restaurants.

The location is everything! Beautifully positioned garden cottages about 1km from the main hotel/restaurant. This was a relief as the place was a bit of a throwback to backpacking days - fine in itself but not what we were expecting! Food/drink is bought to the room so you don’t need to make the steep ascent on foot or accept a scooter ride!! Lovely bed and the terrace with day bed allows you to relax and enjoy the fabulous views. Lovely staff who couldn’t do enough to help. Highly recommended for a peaceful escape!

With a lot of tourism spots in the area, I think the local government should put a serious effort to boost it’s popularity and attract more tourists.
Create a special event, surely bajawa has a lot of potentials; nature, historic, its friendly people with amazing voices, and yes..the coffee.
A super urgent note for the local gov’t, there’s a big hole in front of Camelia restaurant that might trapping the pedestrian especially during a blackout night (it’s common in bajawa)
