Food was great, a lot of things to do especially for the kids. We had really great time. Pools are clean and not crowded. In addition hotel organised cake and song for my birthday, that was really sweet.

Apartment in a beautiful completely renovated house with genius loci, located in a quiet street, yet only 8 minutes walk from the Aquapark, restaurants or shops. Bed comfortable, apartment equipped with everything you need. László is a caring host. Considering our children and just the nearby waterpark, this was not the last time we stayed here. We will definitely be back.

The small town is a bit neglected, the pavement is potholed, and the evening lighting is also weak. The spa mainly focuses on families with children. The swimming pool was closed, replaced by a water park for children. So there is no proper swimming pool. Restaurant options are very poor. Very high prices with very bad food. There was only one exception, the main building upstairs restaurant.

As written the wellness was the only part that met our expectations. The service was slow, the staff very unfriendly. The food was ok for adults but very poor options for kids. And that for a lot of money. There are much better wellness hotels where I’ve already been.

Zalakaros is a friendly town in Zala County. We love the atmosphere and the friendliness of all the people we met there.
You can spend days in the termal spa, visit the natural wonders nearby, go for sightseeing with dotto, segway or electric bikes.
If you are a first-time visitor it is worth to check the Tourist Office in the center.

We used Zalakaros as a stopover to/from our main holiday (in Croatia), and what a good choice it was. It is a beautiful town, clean and well kept. The Spa is also very clean and well managed. I would also strongly recommend the Koma Restaurant - superb food, great service and value for money.
The place has a spirit of the old spa-town. The size and the equipment of the apartment was good for the family with two children. Large garden for rest after long driving.
Nice host, helpful. Clean and spacious apartment. Very sunny. Well equipped. There was a grill, jacuzzi outside. With garden furniture. Kids playground. Fast Internet.
