What an excellent experience! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived and called the number, they came to meet us to give us the keys and show us around. The apartment was well appointed, with good cooking facilities. The location is great, close to Lake Tisza and the Okocentrum (an excellent freshwater aquarium). We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and cycling nearby. There was parking inside the yard of the property. The highlight of the apartment is the lovely garden, filled with fruit trees.

A small fairly poor village in the Hungarian countryside. Every fourth house is open for agro-tourism, well organized and can satisfying for every visitor.
There is a nice cake-shop (Sarokház cukrászda) nearby with excellent ice cream even some without sugar or dairy!
A perfect local bakery, which is cheap and excellent quality. Two or three grocery stores in the center with modest prices.
We tried only one restaurant now (Aranyosidombi udvarház) with local farmin sources. They offer landmark dishes and modern kitchen products too, excellent taste and perfect hospitality within a rural environment. Highly suggested!!!
Nearby, about 8 minutes walk you can find a small boat shop (Csicsman kikötő) where you can rent a motorboat or a simple boat with oars for a low price per hour or per day. Perfect way to discover the lake and the reed isles or just going fishing!

Nice village, relatively simple, but I found everything I wanted. (Nature, simple shops for food and some clothes, restaurant, ice-cream, swimming possibility, canoe-renting etc.)
If you are looking for mountains you missed the direction... :-) I have no information on nightlife, I was not interested in.
Quiet place for relaxation, for enjoying nature (river, birds, fishing, cycling etc.).
