The hotel had everything we needed for a short break, the spa and wellness was complete with a boiling hot sauna, Jacuzzi, cold pool and a small thermal pool too. The lovely part was that it was open until 11pm, there's also bowling and a bar too. The smart tv was actually smart and useful for watching Netflix etc.

The hotel has a great location and superb breakfast (on the weekends) because on Monday we were the only guest. Breakfast was still good and plentiful but the buffet style on the weekend was also pleasing to the eye. The room was nice and good size.

Nyiregyhaza is a very nice 100K citizens Hungarian city. It's very clean, you can see that it's been taken good care of. Nice parks, sculptures, a mixture of cultures, great places to hang out or to go out for a portion of great food and drinks. It's also a university city and has a great zoo on the outskirts of the city. I'd say that it's also climatically and geographically situated perfectly well - just 2+hrs from Budapest (by highway), the nearest airport is in Debrecen which is some 80 km from Nyiregyhaza, neighbouring Ukraine and Slovakia (literally an hour's drive to each of the above mentioned), Tisa river is near, lots of water and forests. In general, it seemed to me that people of Nyiregyhaza are very happy with the place where they live in.

An amazing place to visit with family and friends, people...
An amazing place to visit with family and friends, people are kind, attractions are great. Huge outdoor park spa with indoor kiddie pools and other specialty ones. Animal park is huge, has elephants, giraffes, a restaurant, petting zoo and an oceanarium. Lots of fountains all over town, lots of ice cream and the streets are clean in general.

The city center is not very interesting.
The city center is not very interesting. It's classic small Eastern Europe city and 3 hours is enough to see it all. Nyiregyhaza has great thermal spa, thermal lake and zoo, which I think are it's main attractions.

Location, there is an ALDI in front and a nearby shopping centre. There is also an off license beside the hotel and a bus stop in front.
The room is spacious, it comes with free toiletries, towels and a cooler.

They let us use the hairdryer.
It was good but not great, mostly because part of the personnel seems to be inexperienced. A very important extra is the existence of a charging point for electric cars in the parking of the hotel.
Everything was great. The hotel is located in a beautiful park. There is an elevator to the second floor. Special food for people with diabetes. Convenient parking. Exceeded all expectations.
