Everything about the hotel itself was great. My room was large with a great view. I really got lucky there as I had a top-floor room on the southwest corner of the hotel. The pool/spa area is amazing. With "Spa" in the name of the hotel, this is important. Everything is clean and very well kept up. The food, while not varying much from day to day, was extremely good. Overall, a wonderful experience. There are shops, restaurants, and cafes just a few minutes' walking distance from the hotel. There is also a grocery store just northeast of those shops. The hotel is located in a small village so the area is nice and quiet.
Only 66 feet from the thermal baths, Hotel Forrás Zalakaros features air-conditioned rooms with a balcony, as well as a restaurant and a large garden area. WiFi in all areas is for free.
The Hunguest Hotel Freya is located in a well-groomed park in the center of Zalakaros, next to the Zalakaros Thermal Bath with various indoor and outdoor pools with water slides.

Spacious room, large bathroom, assorted fridge. Meals were unexpectedly rich, with plenty of foods they were growing on their own farm. Assorted bar and nice terrace where to enjoy a relaxing cocktail. Staff was friendly, could help in English too.
