Lovely apartment with balcony, nice bathroom and use of kitchen. Very friendly owners - as we were the only people there, they let us stay in the apartment until it was time to go and catch our train (station 3 minutes' walk away).

Hortobágy is a fantastic destination of Hungary. If you wanna relax and forget about all of your city life than it's a perfect Holiday Program. Don't forget to take a carriage to the Horse Show programs, it starts at 10 am, 12 am. It will last a lovely 1.5 hour.
Get back to the village and have a cool traditional Hungarian dish. Tray the gulyas 🍲 soup. Fish soup. Gulyás sous with noodle.

Loved the carriage ride through the puszta and the shows on the way. Good places around for breakfast lunch and dinner.
