Together with my friends we stayed at Király Apartman, where we spent a very nice time there. Even though we arrived late in the evening, our host was very friendly and waited for us until we arrived to show us the house and to give us the keys to the. At our arrival, we received the property key without any difficulties.
Even though we booked for 3 persons the house, the kind landlord agreed for a reasonable price, that another friend could stay with us, which we very much appreciated. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. The rooms were very cozy, clean and the beds were very comfy. Towels and bed linen were as well prepared when we arrived.
The house has a big kitchen and also a nice terrace near the entrance, as well as near the pool, where you can relax, read a book or enjoy a good coffee. If you come by car, then you can park it on the property. The Király Apartman is situated in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, where shops and restaurants are also within walking distance.
It exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend, if you visit Fonyod with friends or family to stay over the night or for a few days at the Király Apartman, because the property is great, the pool is very nice and the landlord is very friendly.

very nice place, big garden and very nice outdoor space, the barbecue spot was very cosy and we really enjoyed it when night felt. 3 bathrooms was perfect as well for a group of 10, the owner was very nice and helpful. there is a nice balcony as well to enjoy a view on fonyod, just 20 minutes by walk from the closest beach.

Great location, exceptionally friendly host, and excellent facilities. The apartment offers free parking, which is extremely convenient. There's a coffee machine and fridge in the common area, allowing for easy access to refreshments anytime. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are impeccably clean, making for a very pleasant stay.
The kitchen is well-equipped if you prefer to cater for yourselves, and with a grocery store just a short walk away, stocking up on supplies is effortless. Although we didn't personally use the pool or BBQ area, they are available and look like great options for relaxing or enjoying a meal outdoors.
Overall, this accommodation provides everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town. In places quite smelly, some houses need a bit of love and well kept houses have wildly diverse architecture, but generally the town feels safe and offers a lot of restarurants, ferry service, some water attractions and playgrounds for kids. Be aware though, very very few people (even young) speak foreign language there. What a difference in comparison to Györ in the North of Hungary, where everyone we met in the public areas spoke either English or German on a reasonable level. People are neither unfriendly, nor friendly; I fell like they just don't care about foreign tourists and mostly avoid communication due to a language barrier.

Very nice, modern apartment, with partial view on Balaton lake, decorated with taste, ideal for a family with children. The apartment complex offers also swimming pool (open from 9am to 6pm) and a tasteful inner yard. We also had our dedicated parking place outside. The apartment is well equipped and a public beach is literally 1 min walk. The check in / out was smooth and welcoming despite our late arrival. We would have liked to stay a bit longer to fully enjoy the experience.
A quiet location, a well furnished room and clean, large bathroom, to the highway not far to the Balaton beach. A very good tasty breakfast. Very nice and friendly staff. We recomand Juhasz Fogado.
