Together with my friends we stayed at Király Apartman, where we spent a very nice time there. Even though we arrived late in the evening, our host was very friendly and waited for us until we arrived to show us the house and to give us the keys to the. At our arrival, we received the property key without any difficulties.
Even though we booked for 3 persons the house, the kind landlord agreed for a reasonable price, that another friend could stay with us, which we very much appreciated. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. The rooms were very cozy, clean and the beds were very comfy. Towels and bed linen were as well prepared when we arrived.
The house has a big kitchen and also a nice terrace near the entrance, as well as near the pool, where you can relax, read a book or enjoy a good coffee. If you come by car, then you can park it on the property. The Király Apartman is situated in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, where shops and restaurants are also within walking distance.
It exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend, if you visit Fonyod with friends or family to stay over the night or for a few days at the Király Apartman, because the property is great, the pool is very nice and the landlord is very friendly.

very nice place, big garden and very nice outdoor space, the barbecue spot was very cosy and we really enjoyed it when night felt. 3 bathrooms was perfect as well for a group of 10, the owner was very nice and helpful. there is a nice balcony as well to enjoy a view on fonyod, just 20 minutes by walk from the closest beach.
Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town. In places quite smelly, some houses need a bit of love and well kept houses have wildly diverse architecture, but generally the town feels safe and offers a lot of restarurants, ferry service, some water attractions and playgrounds for kids. Be aware though, very very few people (even young) speak foreign language there. What a difference in comparison to Györ in the North of Hungary, where everyone we met in the public areas spoke either English or German on a reasonable level. People are neither unfriendly, nor friendly; I fell like they just don't care about foreign tourists and mostly avoid communication due to a language barrier.

Really good location in the heart of Fonyod 5 minute walk to Panoráma Strand and next to the market terrain. Near bakery and supermarket.

It’s the perfect location for a safe but fun trip to Balaton. With the outstanding parks, restaurants and lake a short distance from the apartment. Then there’s the train station, allowing you to travel around the lake or to Budapest. Perfect.
