Nice renovated hotel with good breakfast and a very pretty garden opening out to Balaton. Lots of comfortable parking space is available, the apartment style rooms were nice and spacious including balconies. Air conditioning was strong, the staff were kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend it.

Nice and serene place by the lake. A couple of restaurants by the lake, which was nice. People there don't speak english, but most know german. Traffic by the main road was pretty high, which made crossing quite a challange. Most of the shore is taken by private properties.

I guess it depends on what you expect.
I guess it depends on what you expect. If you expect some kind of summer "sea" vacation, this is not the place. Way too windy, cold water, the "beach" is very small and the facilities very old and communistic.
The town is very local, well priced, but nothing outstanding. I guess for biking it could be nice around the lake.
In general I would not come back.

Our stay at Lux Penthouse Balatonlelle was unforgettable. The rooms were clean and new, providing maximum comfort. The large terrace gave us an amazing place to relax, and the private parking was a great advantage. Our children were thrilled to watch the trains from the room window.
The staff was very kind and helpful, which added to the overall pleasant experience. Our stay here left a deep impression on our hearts, and we already look forward to returning to this exceptional place. I give it 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it. Thank you!
I stayed once at the same hotel in my early 20s when I was travelling on a budget and I remember how old and sad it looked and seeing it after the renovation was amazing. It looks almost unrecognisable. I think the only thing that remained the same are the walls. The team did a great job to make it an excellent place to stay.

- quite big room with great built-in balcony,
- (small) refrigerator inside the room,
- enough amount of wardrobes to keep clothes for week for 4-persons family.
The hotel is great, the room the restaurant and service was brilliant. Very close to the lake and has a mini park for kids to play, The lemonade is one of the best I've ever had.
