The location was a short walk from the ferry port and close to the water + restaurants. The size of the room a perfect and had shampoo, body wash, towels, AND beach towels. We didn't cook, but they had everything you could need to do so. The room also had Netflix, which was great if you were sick of old American crime show reruns on the local channels. Kristina and Luka were wonderful hosts and gave us great recommendations for beaches / restaurants. They also provide a ride service to take you to and from different locations on the islands. Walking is super easy around the island, but there are a few beaches that are easier to get to via a drive.
If you like to exercise, the waterfront has a long stretch where you can run and get an amazing view of the island + water. I wish I knew because I skipped packing running shoes cause I assumed the Croatia would be similar to Greece and hard to find areas to work out.

Everything about this apartment exceeded my expectations. It was beautiful on both the inside and out. It was immaculate, spacious and provided all the necessities a traveler could ask for! The location was perfect because it was half way between a swimming beach and the promenade so you had the best of both worlds. The hosts were so generous and responsive. I would stay here over and over again!

The apartment is beautiful, a modern and airy feel and has everything you need. A very comfortable bed and good air conditioning. The view from the terrace is lovley and you can watch the sunset. It is about a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and sea. We hired a car from the hosts which was a great way to explore the island. The hosts kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry port. They were available if needed, but left us to enjoy our holiday. Overall really recommend this apartment.

The location was perfect for us. Right in the middle of all the action to watch the boats, the park and the grocery stores were just down the street. Being met with the key for the apartment and then to have someone to show us all the features was greatly appreciated. The apartment is small but efficiently laid out and was comfortable for the 3 of us. It has good air circulation and the side balcony was so nice to sit out on in the evening. For the price I felt it was great!

Vis is a stunning island and we spent 4 nights here as part of a 4 week trip touring Croatia and its islands. It's the location they filmed Mamma Mia 2. The water is stunning green and is so clear.
Vis town is a beautiful spot to stay with the old town Kut being particularly beautiful. We didn't have a bad meal and although it's not particularly cheap it's not as expensive as Dubrovnik.
Konoba kantum is a must for authentic Croatian food, Restaurant Pojoda for great seafood and Lambik Bistro for good pizza.
Fort George is a great place for a sunset cocktail as it Bistro Frutarija.
Vis has beautiful beaches and highly recommend Plaža Zaglav for kids (its worth the walk). Highly recommend a car.

STUNNING island with much to do.
STUNNING island with much to do. I wish we stayed longer to get to travel more of the island, but easy to walk around. Lots of very well behaved dogs walking around no leash.
The weather was a bit iffy some days, but we went to Lipanovic winery for a tasting. Its within an old War tunnel. The only one in use on the island (which says a lot because the whole island was used to store war needs for WWII). The wine was really great!

You can get to parts of the Island by bus and the ferry links are good.

Admirable island.
Admirable island. The nature is saved, a lot of greenery, the water is warm, I was sorry that I couldn't take camera while swimming because the view is wonderful wherever you turn your eyes.
And I think that is enough to say that I met a couple who came to Vis for twenty third time.

A perfect little sized island with a lot of small intresting excursions along the coastline. Very beautiful day and night. Impressive marina, good choices of restaurants. And of course a little bit famed from the 2nd Mama Mia-film, filmed here.

Great island to visit since it’s the oldest island of Croatia. Lots of great beaches, restaurants and beautiful old town to visit.
I highly recommend if you stay in Vis, go do the Blue cave tour, absolutely amazing.
Perfectly equipped, clean, modern air-conditioned and comfortable accommodation. Free parking right in front of the accommodation. Three beautiful beaches are a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Polite and friendly reception. A perfect choice, I can only recommend it to everyone.
Location is superb. Incredible view, private entrance for swimming, shaded large terrace facing the sunset, closeness to ancient stone streets and Kut Town Center. The photos and 5-star reviews are all true. The hosts are all attentive.
Loved this place so much. The furnishings and decor are beautiful and so inviting. The location is ideal - close to everything, including the port. Vis is a wonderful island and LISSA home was a perfect part of the experience.
Since the negative reviews they have clearly renovated the room and kitchenette, as well as ensured the cleanliness levels are better. The bed is comfy and the kitchen area is new and modern.
