The owners of the apartment are really great people. Very nice, helpful in case of any problem. Our whole family, including my niece, loved them. I travel a lot and I can compare, and I have them in the highest ranks.
As far as the place in this part of the island of Vir is concerned - there is nothing wrong with it. On foot, it is a 3-5 minute slow walk to the sea, which is absolutely ideal for swimming with children, as well as swimming for longer distances for us adults. The sea is super clean and transparent, perhaps thanks to the pebble beach, and quite a few fish can be seen in it. We used this for our little girl's swimming and diving training :-)
In the house you have the entire ground floor at your disposal, parking right next door on a private lot, and there are many places to sit and your own barbecue. From the large living room there is access to 3 bedrooms, the largest of which also has its own toilet and a second shower. The house is in a quiet area, there is no noise from the street or any disco or anything like that. Wifi works reliably, mobile signal perfect, in case you need to take a moment to work.
To sum it up, this is one of the best places for a peaceful vacation that I have visited in recent years. And for a holiday with a small child by the sea, it is definitely the best.

In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop PEDESTRIAN ZONE and pavements.
Restauranst are OK, however many of them prefer group of 4 and more people and couples have to wait to be seated.
There are many supermarkets and bakeries.
Do not expect any historical or cultural experience, Vir is more for beaches and sailing.

Really like this location.
Really like this location. Although it's an island, it's accessible by car via bridge, which makes car trips around fast and simple (e.g. Nin, Zaton, Zadar). There are lot of good restaurants around, nice, clean beaches, local shops.

Perfect place for family with kids - different beaches even with sand and shallow water, a few playgrounds, everything is very close. We enjoyed beach sapavac with shallow water and healing mud the most, but we visited 10 beaches and we loved them all. On the other hand - we were there in october and there was not many people on beaches and everywhere which we loved, I am not sure how we would feel in summer when beaches are full of people. Also a lot of fast foods, shops and bars were closed because the season was over so it was like peacefull village :) It must look very different in summer.

Vir is a small island, easy to explore and see the most important things even during a short stay. For some it may be too busy in the season, but in the off season it is a very lovely and romantic place. Many water sports and other leisure activities are available, and many restaurants offer a wide variety of food for those seeking culinary delights. The water supply is quite poor, so it is advisable to avoid drinking tap water, or consuming ice cubes or fruits washed with tap water in those parts of the island where there is no piped drinking water service.

We stayed for a 5 days, many nice beaches are all accessible with a car - if you don't mind using a car everyday, then you can find a beach that suits you.
The city center is pretty dirty, looks a bit like a dodgie place. We couldn't find a good restaurant - we tried 2 best ones (according to google and trip advisor) but all tasted like I was cooking the food, or to be more accurate - like I was heating up the food in microwave. The prices are much higher than for example in the island of Pag and are definitely not worth it.

The best time to visit is after 15 august because is not to crowded and not to hot.
Search the best beach for you! There are like 20 and not far one from another.
Eat at Tony pizzeria! Good food, not expensive, in front of the beach and fast served
Do not miss the evening walk! Is the best time to see what Vir can offer.
Have kuna in cash! Most of places do not have the possibility of paying with card.
Bath shoes 100% neccesary on the beach.
Take care about driving because the streets are quiet narrow.
We were very satisfied with the accommodation. The view of the sea and the mountains is amazing. The terrace in the upper apartment is huge and sunny. The apartment is modern and tasteful. The location is very peaceful and quiet, no one disturbed us. The proximity to the beach was the biggest advantage for us. If we want to visit Vir again, we will definitely come back here. Thank you and greetings Pavka.
A very nice apartment with excellent location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants. Only a few steps away from the closest beach. Even the more untouched beach locations are just a couple minutes away by car. Superb view of the sea from the balcony. The hosts were very helpful and nice in all matters. I recommend the place to everybody.
We recently stayed at Emko Apartments on the beautiful island of Vir. The location is absolutely fantastic—just a one-minute walk to the sea, which made our stay incredibly convenient. The flat itself was clean, though the bathroom was a bit outdated and not as spotless as we would have liked, but it was manageable.
It was good
2 mins walking distance to nice beach
5 mins drive to another nice beach - free parking
About 5 mins drive to the nicest beach in vir but is payable parking 2eur per hour
