Nicely designed rooms and well appointed. The fixtures and furnishings, however, were worn from traffic and abuse. The carpeting in the hallways and room were full of stains and need replacing. Lovely location. We got the sense that this hotel gets a lot of business travel/events, tour groups and weddings. Therefore, a ton of traffic to support its size and abuse on the materials throughout the hotel. All the great design in the world doesn’t matter if you’re not reinvesting capital maintaining finishes and furnishings. The overall establishment was starting to look very tired.

We had such an excellent time here. The staff were superb- very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was perfect, with a lovely balcony and sea view. We loved being able to swim in the sea right behind the hotel. The breakfast was A+, best I've personally ever seen at a hotel.

Friendly staff, a lovely warm welcome. Rooms were clean, plush bedding. Fantastic breakfast with an impressive choice. Very impressed with the gluten and dairy free options for guests. Toilets had small steps for younger children to wash their hands (I rarely see this level of attention to detail and consideration). Also there were nappies available in the changing areas for babies! Ubers are reasonable and the bus is nearby. We loved visiting and using the other hotels in the chain. An additional bonus!

The village only has one restaurant and the nearest shop is in Zaton around 5km away, so it's good if you have your transport. Buses to Dubrovnik pass around once an hour. The harbour and arboretum are well worth a visit, but there is a better beach on the isle of Lopud opposite (accessible by boat).

Very good place to visit for2-3days. Or it's also is a good variant to stay here and sometimes walk in Dubrovnik. In Trsteno there are good beach, clean sea, comfortable to swim and beautiful Gardens.
This Apartment is fantastic! You'll find yourself surrounded by the calm and green of a nice garden and the Arboretum is just around the corner. The studio is fully equipped and super clean. The wonderful hosts - Maja and Anita - are really helpful and if you want always up for a talk. And they make delicious jam! We'd definitly recommend a stay here!
A little slice of heaven tucked into the Adriatic hillside. Fresh home grown strawberries awaited us in the fridge and this set the tone to our stay. So peaceful and relaxing. A memory to treasure. Dawn chorus from arboretum was amazing. Loved this stay.
The hosts were super nice and helpful:)) it was possible to go to Dubrovnik by bus but Trsteno itself has also some very beautiful parts! The beach is pretty cool and the Arboretum is also impressive:))
The best thing was to meet the hosts and hear their stories, we enjoyed very much the small gifts like a cake for breakfast or croatian sushi and home made wine in the evening.
