This place is exquisite, a gem. The family who run the villa are so accommodating and friendly. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality.
Amazing place, a real sense of style and comfort. We are only sorry we did not stay longer. We will be back.
Completely renovated in 2020, HVAR [PLACESHOTEL] by Valamar is set right at the beach promenade, just 50 metres from the sea.

Location was amazing. You have access to the beach as well, which is more quiet than staying by the pool. Best breakfast we've ever had, definitely, with lots of different options (vegan and gluten free included).
Bar in the pool to drink a cocktail, while enjoying the view and the sun. Super cool environment with music and contact with nature.
Lots of different activities to stay active and fit.
I loved it 🥳
Hotel Hvar is situated on the island of Hvar in the small picturesque town of Jelsa on a wooded hill, sloping to the shoreline, with panoramic sea views from the rooms, restaurant and lounge bar.

It was horrendous- and Booking . com should strike it off their list!!!
Idyllic, a bit remote. Not too many people there even in the main season, beautiful beaches! Has a bakery (open 7-10 am) and someone who sells local products next to it, next mini market is in Ivan Dolac. Also a great starting location for hiking or biking up to Sveti Nikola (there even is a nice via ferrata and a place for climbing). On gravel roads aside of the main rodes I'd recommend a SUV or a mountainbike!

Small city with not much to visit(church, cave).
Small city with not much to visit(church, cave). Good destination for accommodation and beaches. Quiet with not much traffic as it is coastal city at the end of the road. To the nearest port city (Jelsa, Stari Grad) around 40 minutes trip but very picturesque.

The peace and the pristine beauty of the place, the comfort...
The peace and the pristine beauty of the place, the comfort of the rooms, the strategic position, the courteous and helpful welcome of the owner. The rooms are comfortable, neat and brand new, the bathroom is large and has a spacious shower. The kitchen is equipped with all comforts, including dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, TV, sofa and kitchenette with refined and functional dishes. The apartment is in the quietest area of the island, from the room you can enjoy a priceless view and the sound of the sea lulls you to sleep. A wonderful experience and absolutely recommended, beyond expectations! The owner is helpful, welcoming and very sweet, making hospitality an art. Definitely to be replicated.

we stayed in an apartment colse to the little port. The village is 10 minutes far from there.
It's very little... staying there is not suggested.
Ther is a minimarket open early in the morning and after 6 pm to by minimal food.
From there you can hike to the highest point of hvar in 1 hour walk.
