Sukosan is a small seaside village near Zadar, picturesque with lively buzz. I was lucky to be there with my friend on Thursday evening, when the main square is echoing with live music performance. We had dinner in the local restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious.
I would recommend Sukosan for relaxed family holidays, beach and swimming, chilling with cocktails and enjoying seaside walks.

Sukosan is beautiful.
Sukosan is beautiful. Our accommodation was so near the waterfront and our balcony had lovely views of the sunset. The town is perfect with a lovely atmosphere and not too busy. Everything we were looking for and a great base for travelling to the nearby areas. We even had a ride on the tourist road train one evening. Wonderful!

Popular for couples with young families and night life is low key (mainly restaurants). Large marina and number of man made and shingle beaches nearby. Best to arrange tours beforehand, otherwise have to go to Zadar.
Solo may prefer larger resorts like Zadar or Biograd.

If you’re looking for nightlife or busy bars then stay in Zadar because Sukosan is a beautiful but sleepy village. It has quite a few restaurants/bars but they’re definitely not lively.
The restaurant are mainly fish based or Italian and all fairly reasonable priced.

Everything was great! The perfect location: great house for a family with a great pool! The house is well-equipped with all the facilities! There are two kitchens, two bathrooms and one small toillet near the pool.
There is also parking for minimum 2 cars.
The host is very helpful and provided us with all the information.
The beach in Sukosan is 10 min drive where there is also a small sandy beach.
There are also 2 small shops at 2 minute drive.
For us it was the perfect location! Thank you, Ana, for this perfect holiday!
Even if it was a small room it was very comfy. We liked the bathroom very much, it was clean and shiny like it had been just renovated. We appreciated the tiny fridge in the corner and the silent air-conditioner. Ana was extremely kind, cheerful and helpful. Thanks for making our stay pleasant!
Extreme friendly staff with good English, hotel was perfectly clean, had a great sea view and breakfast & dinner was perfect. No request was too much and was all provided for with a big smile! When I come back to Croatia, I definitely will stay in this hotel again!
Ms. Ana, the host, a very kind old lady, welcomed us nicely. The apartment was big and for a pit-stop in a larger drive, was supposed to be OK (see below)
