Marijana was a perfect host, offered me a coffee on arrival, showed me the place, helped with other things I needed and was so friendly and inviting. The area of this is beautiful, can easily hike to Veliki grad and Odysseus cave, no issues with finding it or parking. Lovely quiet place, the people in surrounding areas very friendly. Everything I needed inside the cave too. Great recommendation for the pizza place up the road, best pizza ever. For those who may not like cats, the cats are well fed and looked after and do not bother you at all, the cats and chickens are very funny to watch. The roosters can be loud sometimes in the morning but if it woke me I was easily able to go back to sleep. Absolutely loved this place I’d love to come back.

The apartment was clean and had all the necessary facilities. The beach near the villa was amazing and quiet. You could rest there and see an amazing sunset and sunrise. The host Marin was amazing. When I didn't have the cash to pay on the spot he was very accommodating and he also drove me to Pomena after checking out. The food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was amazing. If you can spend on the taxis to get here, this accommodation and Kozarica is a very charming place.

Sobra is tiny and suitable for people wanting an exceptionally quiet holiday, or who have a car or bike to get about & see more of Mljet. It has two restaurants and a sandwich shop and a very small mini mart with extremely limited stock (eg no eggs or hard cheese the week we were there). The restaurants are fine- one is predominantly pizzas and the other has a good choice.
There are some walks out of Sobra if you’re ok with very hilly terrain and rough underfoot.

Small place and port on island of Mljet.
Small place and port on island of Mljet. You have three restaurants, two of them are mainly fish restaurants and the third is pizzeria and caffe. In the port you have rent a car. It is very well connected to other parts of the island, by state road. This place is perfect as a starting point for exploration of the island.

Sobra is really quiet but so is the whole island as there are only three really proper villages. The village is lovely with a pretty harbour and some bars and restautants and a small supermarket. to get around the island you need a car.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful place. The apartment was more than well equipped, furnished and clean with a picturesque view of the bay and little town of Sobra from the balcony. The so called "Komin" above the apartment complex is a great place for grilling fresh fish from the local fishmarket in a traditional way over firewood. Our special thanks goes to the owner, Mihaela for being the most helpful and kind host that we ever met over the years.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is renovated and modern, very spacious and comfortable. The balcony and the view is just incredible and breathtaking. The host is welcoming and she made sure we got everything we needed for our stay. If you're visiting Sobra, I really recommend this place, it's definitely the greatest one you can get 😊

Mljet nije veliko ostrvo pa se iz Sobre stigne za nekih 25 minuta vožnje autom na oba kraja ostrva.
