House is nested in a village few minutes drive away from nearest beach. It is meant for motorized tourists, as the beachfront is few km away. On island of Krk, everything is max 35 minutes drive away, with very good roads. House is new or newly renovated, has a small shaded terrace and stone BBQ, It has all a family of four needs for a nice holiday. AC was ok, rooms basic but clean, beds are comfortable and spacious.
We couldnt reach the owner by phone at first, but when we sent a message, they showed up immediately. Also, the key was in front of the property, so even if the owner was not present, we could enter.
The Aminess Magal Hotel is surrounded by a picturesque oak forest and enjoys a great location only 492 feet from the sea in the former fishermen’s village Njivice.

Best place we have stayed in on this Croatian trip. It is definitely a 4 star establishment. Staff helpful and cheerful….the meal was beyond excellent. We both want to go back. We stayed in room with balcony and a view on the ocean and city. Well worth the extra expense.
Hotel Vinotel Gospoja is set in Vrbnik, 39 mi from Opatija and 30 mi from Rijeka. The hotel has a spa center and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar.

Very nice hotel, well designed and maintained. Location is great, parking was available without problem, which is not so easy in that location. Breakfast was really, really good with tons of options. Rooms were clean and well sized.

A modern bathing place, mostly new-built houses. Do not expect traditional houses, old streets. Several beaches in the area, even medieval ruins and deserted rocky beach in walking distance (1-2 km) from the center. The bay is protected from big waves.

Quiet place, still not overcrowded even in July and August, good Krka store, possibility to go to Crikvenica by boat, good market place with fresh fruits and vegetables, comfortable beach with changing rooms. Very friendly place to eat - Riviera especially their tomato soup! It is rather easily to get around Šilo.

Nice and mostly quiet location for families with smaller children. Also dog owners will find their place to enjoy the sun and sea together. Many shops and good restaurants. The nightlife is calm and our stay was not disturbed by anything.

Very nice quiet small city on the island Krk, just couple of minutes drive from sv. Marak Beach or Vrbnik city. But also you can find everything in this small town...great restaurants (I would recommend bistro Macao), regarding beaches, sandy beach right in the city, with just a few minutes walk you can enter also lots of other beaches...and the water, the water was crystal clear.

A beautiful peaceful little village on the sea, with apartment houses, no hotels and few good places to eat. Beaches in Šilo are stunning with crystal clear turquoise water. There is also a camp site and a really nice beach for dogs. For eating we recommend, Bistro Macao.

Very nice apartment with everything we needed. Very friendly host showed us everything. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. Very close to the main beach (about 3 minutes) but there was also no problem reaching other beaches (max.15 minute walk). Silo is a quiet and pleasant city, perfect for relaxing and admiring the beauty of Krk island.
Very very clean. If I could I would give 100 points. Mobile house that we had was very big, with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms plus living space with kitchen area. We spent most of the time outside on the terrace. For a family with small baby definetly the best choice for vacation as the beach is so close, water very clean and easy access. Nice walk to the center of Silo.
Cool Silo is not just an apartment, you can find gym, pool, sauna, playroom for kids. The whole place was clean and very comfortable. The apartment was modern, kitchen well-equiped. The staff was extremely helpful and flexible. The restaurant is the best in Silo (we tried of them which can be found in Silo). We would like to return next summer :-)
The property is absolutely ideally located with a very short walk to the beach and is comfortable and spacious. I would say Silo is an ideal holiday destination for families with very young children.
