The hotel is not a small one and have two restaurants. Both of them offered very nice lunch and dinner.
We stayed on the first floor with stairs only, which we have packed some essential stuff in a small luggage the night before. So, it is okay with us.

The host met us upon arrival and showed us the apartment and how everything worked. The place was very clean and spacious for the 4 of us. The kitchen seemed stocked. We did not use it. Loved the balcony. There was a small store next door to buy drinks and snacks. We parked right in front of the apartment.

This town is very close to Plitvice and a great place to stay for less money than the official Plitvice hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in town, Restoran Degenija serves delicious food, a bit upscale, though not too expensive. Most of the town is on the main road to Plitvice, so there is a lot of traffic.

This is a perfect place for a large group to stay.
This is a perfect place for a large group to stay. We had spacious accommodations for 5. We spent more time than we would like inside because of rain, but it was comfortable. Great location for visiting the park - just down the road. Market store right next door stayed open a little late to let us get groceries for our stay. Had the amenities to cook a meal both nights. Cherry trees on the property were amazing. Hosts were super friendly and went above and beyond.

The village is near the entrances to the Plitvice National Park, a few minutes driving distance. There are several restaurants/diners, as well as a small supermarket to be found along the main road.

Seliste Dreznicko is a great base for exploring Plitvice...
Seliste Dreznicko is a great base for exploring Plitvice national park. It's directly on the Zagreb-Split bus route. You can walk to the National Park it's a beautiful 1 hour walk (on the back-road the D42 to Poljanak, do NOT walk on the main road) or take a bus or taxi - there are buses around 9am. Seliste has some good restaurants/bars (eg Old Shatterhand) and supermarkets. The river would be good for swimming in Spring/Autumn I guess, too little water this summer. It's peaceful.

During our car trip in Croatia, we looked for an overnight stay near Plitvice Lakes. We started with a visit to the beautiful lakes and then checked into the hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
After our visit to the lakes, we could relax in the pool, which was very pleasant after a long day of walking. We really enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Bistro Plum restaurant.
Finally, we had a very nice room where we slept wonderfully. We would have liked to stay for another day.
We only stayed one night before we went to see the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The appartment was very cozy and clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed that is was so quiet and peaceful (other places we looked at were mostly along the main road).
