Very nice owner, at her suggestion I swam in the Kupa river, which is a 5-minute walk away - a revelation. We received delicious tomatoes - thank you. We would like to come back here.

We love staying in nature in solitude, but Aurora exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful nature, breathtaking views, incredible silence, birds, butterflies, lizards... At night we watched bats and foxes from the bedroom window, right from the bed. The accommodation is beautiful, new, clean, cozy and comfortable. The SPA is just the cherry on top of an amazing stay. We didn’t miss anything at all. From the first moment to the last, we were amazed. We would like to thank to our hosts for their kindness and humanity.

Apartman Jana was an absolute dream! Hospitality - We were given a warm welcome by the owners of the property, followed by a brief tour, and even a little schnapps! You don't get this kind of hospitality many places and it was absolutely heartwarming. Communication - Whenever we needed anything we could message the owner and they were quick to respond. If they were on the property they would also be more than helpful with answering any of our questions or offering something we would need. Accomodation - This cozy weekend house is extremely well equipped with a master bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and three balconies! The kitchen was extremely well equipped with pretty much every utensil, gadget, or device you'd need, including a drip coffee maker, a panini toaster, and even an emulsion blender. The beds were very comfortable and the linens crisp and clean. Air conditioning was available, but also screens on windows so you could sleep in the fresh evening air. For those that need to be connected - a strong WiFi connection is available. Location - The location is lovely, close enough to the small town of Ozalj, but also private enough to feel like you're in your own little cottage in the woods. There are houses nearby, but the views off the balconies and windows are unobstructed - just rolling hills and forests. One night while eating dinner, we even spotted a few deer in the bush in front of the house! Cleanliness - I've never stayed in a cleaner, more well organized accomodation. Absolutely spectacular! Overall - Ozalj is off the beaten path for mass tourism in Croatia, which makes it an absolute gem. If you're over the crowded beaches of the Adriatic, and want true Croatian hospitality, come to Ozalj, take a dip in the Kupa river, get some truffle fries at Snackhouse Oz, and stay at Apartman Jana! 10/10 would recommend and will be back!
