Location is just a short walk (literally steps) to the beachfront. Pebble beach and gentle shore with a small stall that sells everything you need for a perfect beach day.
Cozy place, good for families.
Not too fanciful (which we really like), human touches and warm staff.
The buffet bfast and dinner offered was small in variety but big in taste. Just nicely catered for young children and adults.
The kids absolutely enjoyed the pool.

Spacious and clean apartment, kitchen fully equipped. Dogs are welcome. The owner was not there, but she was very responsive. It's a great walking destination in low season.

Small village very quiet, with a couple of restaurants and a nice beach bar shaped like an old galeon. The village has a pebble beach with shallow water that is perfect for families with childre. There is another similar beach about 900 mt from the village, and you can get there by car if you wish.
There are a couple of restaurants, we ate at the larger one at the beginning of the village. Nice location on the sea, food is average.
There is also a very beautiful hiking trail, called "Life on Mars" that is about 8 km long and is really a must. You can walk it with sneakers, no problem.
Perfect place for families and couples who look for a quiet and naturalistic place to spend a regenerating vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We always liked Metajna and now we have a new favorite for the apartment there. It is completely new, modern, nicely designed and equipped. Close to beaches on both sides of the island. We are a family with 2 children and had no problem with space and the sofa bed was also comfortable for sleeping. Great communication with the host. Thank you very much for nice stay!
My boyfriend and I spent a weekend there and we loved the apartment and its location. Yet the thing we liked most was its owners. Krste and his wife really made us feel like at home. They welcomed us and shared with us a great conversation about Metajna and Croatian culture. Had we known we were going to live this experience we would have stayed longer. Definitely would like to come back again!
