The location was like nothing I have ever seen. You are right in front of the beach, it’s so peaceful and you have a beautiful view looking over the mainland and city. I definitely recommend and I’m looking to come back again.

I chose this accommodation because it had a dog beach. The food was good (normal bar food). The yurt was not what I paid for. I paid for a pool view, but received no view of anything other than the yurt across from me. Apparently the staff doesn't know how to add more options of accommodations like pool, ocean, or garden views. They have only one choice and you get whatever they have available when you arrive. There is also a tourist tax that you must pay when you checkout, which I was not made aware of when reserving or checking in. Luckily, this trip was all about my dog going swimming as she very sick with cancer. I wanted one last good weekend for her!

Kali is laid back and peaceful. The beaches are clean. If you have mobility issues be careful as there are some steep hills, but we were glad of the exercise to justify another ice cream. I think hiring bicycles would be ideal as the roads are very quiet and views spectacular..
The ferries are frequent and excellent value from As far old town and ferry port to the south.. Don't be put off from going by the ferry. It was easy to get a ticket and a very enjoyable crossing.

if you want some down time.
i found a bar in the village that served pizza and burgers.
ut was perfect and the walk to and from. it was an experience not to be forgotten. esp coming back in thee dark.

Great little village on the island, around 25 minute walk to...
Great little village on the island, around 25 minute walk to Preko and ferry port. The village itself offers a nice beach with a beach bar nearby, and a great bistro Sardela snack. There are around five little supermarkets with basic goods, and there is also a vegetable and fish market. There are no other shops, all the beach stuff, clothes etc. are in Preko at the closest.
It is good for a relaxed holiday, there isn't much to do at night, but we found having a drink at the beach bar fun enough. You can take many trips around the island as well as to Zadar or Kornati islands. Getting there from the airport or Zadar city is very quick since there are many ferries going there almost every hour.

Jelena was an exceptionally great host. To our surprise her husband picked us up from the ferry with a big smile and drove us to Kali.
The flat is spotlessly clean, brand new and tastefully decorated. It’s 2 to 5 minutes from the beach, so you can even go to a morning swim before breakfast. There are several beautiful alternative beaches within 20 mins walk.
It was overall a fantastic experience and absolutely recommended.
Great and very kind hosts, very nice location, large apartment (two bedrooms and a living room, large and well equipped kitchen, three bathrooms, large balcony with great view of the bay and the town of Kali. Beds were large with a bit stiff mattresses (not the most comfortable but still ok). Parking was guaranteed just few metres from the apartment. Pet friendly. I would love to visit the place again.
Very nice and clean apartment with stunning views over Kali harbour from the balcony and windows. Lovely, quiet pool area also with the same wonderful view. A truly wonderful and relaxing place.
Air con in bedrooms very welcome, pool was lovely and never busy, often had it to ourselves. Apartments were quiet and all patrons respectful. Lovely walk along the coast to Preko and Kali.
