Staying at Hotel Japodi was really special for us! It is clear that Robert and Jagoda have put so much love and thought into this home. Our room was comfortable with a beautiful view (I don’t think any view wouldn’t be beautiful- everywhere you look is gorgeous here). We loved sitting out on the porch with our books and journals, curled up in cozy blankets. We went in the sauna one night too, which felt wonderful after a day of exploring and walking a lot.
We opted to have dinner on-site both nights we were there (for an extra cost). The food was delicious, and the company even better. Breakfast is provided and was also so so tasty.

Very nice litlle town on the lake. Good restaurants and pleasant people. Hotel Bitoraj has a excelent restaurant.
Near the lake, close to the centrum, you can buy domesti product, honey, cheese. I recomended chesse Skripavac.

Amazing little town in the middle of the mountain area but...
Amazing little town in the middle of the mountain area but just half an hour drive from the coast! Surrounded by lakes and forests, it offers a lot of outdoor activities. The food was amazing! Try the blueberry strudel!

Fuzine was beautiful, mountain areas around stunning, lots of beautiful hikes and walks. Only able to eat in 1 restaurant "Eva" due to sudden closure due to Coronavirus, but outstanding service and excellent food served here. Beautiful walks around the lakes. There would be so many more activities on offer in the spring and summer, but loads to do even in March.

Lovely and peaceful little town.
Lovely and peaceful little town. Too bad most of attractions (like coach and train rides, adrenaline parks, etc.) were closed during our visit so whatever fun we wanted to have was upon us to find for ourselves. Lucky for us there are natural caves to explore/ visit in the area, forest parks with multiple walking routes, and lake boardwalks for afternoon strolling.
We ate in hotel-restaurant Bitoraj which has great food and famous blueberry pie. I'd say the food served is in line with prices from the menu. Other restaurants advertised higher prices which made us avoid them in the end.
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an escape in nature and/ or for some peace to study and be creative. It's also cool destination for couples to spend some time alone in semi-isolation.
