Outstanding location, front door is 10m from the sea! Waking up to the sound of the sea and with this breathtaking view is priceless. The villa was very clean and comfortable for our group. We enjoyed the different seating areas outside and being so close to the sea. It was like having your own private beach. Rooms are furnished to high standards, bathrooms spacious, pool with outdoor terraces where we spent most of the time. The hosts, Margarita and Mario, were very friendly and helped immediately with anything. Property is well taken care of and maintained with love and care. We had a great time at Villa Mendes and if opportunity arises, we will gladly return. I would definitely recommend a car or a boat for transport. The view from the balcony was exceptional and we enjoyed sitting out there at night with a drink. The apartment was modern and spacious and both bedrooms were en-suite. The host was extremely helpful and friendly, sending me information about buses before our arrival and then giving us a lift down to the bus station on our last day, when it was raining. We loved our stay in the property and the town of Jelsa, which was pretty and unspoilt. I would definitely come back here.
