Manurii was the PERFECT place for me to stay in Utila - it has the right atmosphere and a lovely staff that makes you feel at home. Thanks to Enno, the owner, and his staff, you feel like you have your own slice of paradise in Utila. The rooms are very well designed with modern taste and the view from my balcony on the third floor was stunning - I could see the top of the tree line and the ocean. The hotel is also placed super well - it's extremely close to all of the great restaurants and bars in the downtown area but far enough away where Manurii can be your retreat at the end of a long day. And the pool is a real gem - it's a 3-level infinity pool that goes down to 10 feet. There's also a poolside bar for beers and cocktails - I spent half of my time hanging out at the pool talking with Enno and other folks at the pool.

The location was beautiful, right on the beach! The service was great, everyone was incredibly attentive in regards to food and drink service. Our lock actually ended up not working but the attendants were very kind and stayed with us until we were able to fix it. The boat service to the area was great and always timely. I would definitely come again.

The Odyssey Resort is a perfect spot to call home in Utila. On the far end of the main drag but quiet and private. You can walk to countless restaurant and one of the best beaches is about 5-8 minute walk. You can dive straight from the property or hang on the dock / deck or go for a swim. The bar/restaurant is perfect place to grab a meal or do some work. The staff are lovely and helpful!! And the rooms are perfectly appointed!
Utila was perfect. The people were so friendly and sweet.
Utila was perfect. The people were so friendly and sweet. We felt really safe everywhere we went. The traffic with people walking everywhere was a little stressful, but everyone looked out for each other. The reef and snorkeling were exceptional. God is the master creator of all of the beauty to behold in Utila.

Utila is a great a chill location to spend few days.
Utila is a great a chill location to spend few days. However it is worth more than 2 days only if you are planning to dive for several days as otherwise it could get boring, as there are not many beaches or options. Pristine water, great coral (although not many fish and some of the coral is dead). It is worth a visit!

I went to Neptune beach one day but did not like it too much as the snorkeling was not so good. This private beach, accessible from a private launch boat, became very crowded as the day wore on. However, it did have a surprisingly good restaurant. (Tuna tower)…
There are three very good restaurants here: Mamuth, Mango Tango, and the newly opened Captain Willits.
The shore snorkeling was quite good at Coral View and they had a nice bar at end of pier. You can rent a bicycle at a hardware store just up the street from the main ATM near the ferry dock.

We were on the island about 3 nights which was perfect.
We were on the island about 3 nights which was perfect. Had a vrbo with bikes which was perfect. The town is small and easily seen that way. Definitely big on diving. Great snorkeling near shore, although shallow to get out to it. Loved the chocolate factory. The iced chocolate tea is amazing! Although on-line reviews say this is the island for young backpackers/partiers, we found a quiet home just outside of town and loved it. Yes, there are plenty of bars, but there is quiet to be found as well. We enjoyed good vegetarian food at Ultralight Cafe. Joya is such a great hostess that cooks wonderful middle eastern food. Enjoyed a nice ride then walk up Pumpkin Hill as well. Rented kayaks and explored the canal (very narrow!) as well. Had a great time and would love to go back!

This was our second time to visit.
This was our second time to visit. Lovely little town and the people are very friendly. It is an inexpensive place to visit and you are sure to meet people and make new friends. People come here from all over the world. The diving is phenomenal!
Milady was a fantastic host. She told us all about the island, had lots of great tips and made us feel comfortable. Milady created an environment which made us feel like we could ask her for help, no matter what problem we might have and she would not judge us.
The bed was comfy, kitchen was well stocked, free drinking water, hot shower, aircon, fan, lovely garden. The location is a short, easy walk away from the main street on the island. A tuktuk ride is 30-40L to the property.
Manurii was STUNNING! We spent 5 days here and had an amazing time. The pool and bar area is breathtaking! The hotel is nestled in this beautiful little patch of jungle with plenty of wildlife. Plus it's a short walk to the main road for food and nightlife. The rooms were great too. Very comfy bed and is styled beautifully. The attention to detail is superb! The owner and his staff were lovely. Plus there's a really cute dog on the property 😍 No complaints here!
Location: Great, quiet area, not that far away from the city centre.
Charming staff and delicious food with vegan options on the menu.
In the price of the hotel you can rent scuba diving equipment, kayaking, etc.
Pier. The resort has also a good size pier with two swimming pools, top roof deck and the bar.
Personally I would give the pier a fresh paint, some net curtains and lights around the lounge beds and easily call the place 5 stars resort :)
The location is great, by a stunning beach, in a more remote part of the island.
This is the only good thing this place have!
The bungalows are also nice, quite big and the bed is super comfy.
The island is full of sandflies so keep in mind during your early morning walk and at the sunset.
The boat service is great, it would be better if longer. (The last one is at 5 pm from the city snd 5.30 from the resort)
