1. The location right on the lake, with clean water and excellent swimming. We swam every day of our stay. 2. The Adirondack-in-the-Tropics great camp feel, especially the gorgeous dining hall, the little library and the open air lounges. 3. It's a hidden treasure in El Remate. I loved the room and the view, although the heat was intense, and the only cooling option was a fan. Fortunately, the hotel has its own energy plant, allowing us to use it during town power outages.

We got a room with a shared bathroom, and it was a very short walk to get to the bathroom outside. The room had a big fan, which was enough to stay cool. No lake view from the room, but the pier has a picnic table, and you can have food and drink from the restaurant out there. The hotel is a medium walk from the main road which was nice because it was very quiet.

The cabin was wonderful it has all you need and is aesthetically very pleasing. The location is great as it is near the lake but not too close to the busier area. It is very clean and the garden is quite relaxing!
