The house is in the countryside, in a quiet and relaxing location, perfect for a family: children may play in the garden, where there are four nice colorful hammocks, some nice trees, a rooster and two hens. In the garden, close to the kitchen, there is also a nice wide patio where you can have breakfast and relax on a sofa.
I was positively surprised by the care that the owner placed in all the details: the house was decorated with several nice little statues of frogs and a big nice frog was painted at the entrance of the house.
No need of air conditioning, as - though we stayed there in mid August - in the house we could enjoy a good temperature and a bit of wind.
The house was equipped with any comfort, a perfect mix between the comfort of a hotel (bathrobes, shampoos, bedroom slippers, etc.) and the comfort of a house (kitchen tools, washing machine detergent, etc.).
Everything was clean and new.
Walking just five-ten minutes we could get to small supermarkets and to the bus line that connects the port and several beaches.
I strongly recommend it.

The property is definitely worth more than 8,9 as it is brand new, beautiful, functional and has a very nice view to the sea and forest. We had privacy and relaxed well in the property. However, host’s hospitality with warm & welcoming approach was not existent and thus worsened the overall experience. The most hospitable and nice members of the property were the cleaning lady and the beautiful cat that met us at the car and led us to our room every time we arrived.

Nice hotel on top of the hill, ~15 minutes walk to city center, beautiful jacuzzi in the room. You can call a golf car from the hotel situated at the start of the hill called also Avaton, especially if you have luggage. Nice staff.

Recommendations for visitors, rent a car so that you can visit this beautiful Greek island. With a car, you can easily get to the beautiful beaches in the north like Mandraki and others. The sea is clear blue and you feel like you're almost alone on the beach.

Plenty of choice of restaurants, hotels with pools which you can use. Nearby bus stops. Flat for walking.
Nice beach with tavernas but sunbeds difficult to obtain I would imagine you would have to get up and on the beach by at least 8 in the morning to secure one.

Trolous is a very nice village on Skiathos Island.
Trolous is a very nice village on Skiathos Island. It has everything you need for a family vacation, from shops to taverns.
The beach is absolutely perfect for children. You can rent sunbeds or stay on a towel. You can also have a little bit of snorkeling in the water (there are some interesting fish in there).
I have stayed in Skiathos for two weeks and for a family(including small children) point of view, Trolous beach was second best on the island after Koukounaries beach.

Excellent holiday, perfect for beach a the many walks around the area. Villa Jeanna was lovly, Lilly could not do enough for you, 100% return . Best restraints are jasteri on the main road and the brother taverna on the beach

it is on the main bus route from Skiathos town to all the resorts and beaches on the coast, so very convenient. Lots of choices for places to eat and drink. A place to relax , no town as such with shops etc other than reasonably stocked supermarkets.

This place is close to the best beaches on Skiathos, lot of tavernas, more than usual in places like this. You should have car or rented vehicle to feel full value of this place. There are busses but it is better to have your own transport.

Villa Ourania is the perfect place to spend your holiday in complete relax. From the structure - which is comfortable, clean and near to a lots of tavernas and shops - you can easily reach the most beautiful beaches in the island and the Skiathos centre.
Nikos, the owner, is very polite and always ready to help you with anything you'll need.
Quite and green location into the trees we didn't turn on the AC during our 10 day stay, at all.
Playground for the kids and safe parking firvthe cars.
Plenty of super markets and restaurants from 2-10 min walking distance and the beach of Troulos is 600m away,
The best beaches in Skiathos are up to 10 min away by car.
You will not find better hosts than the team that is running the hotel. Very hospitable. They made a difference to our holiday.
