This was a convient hotel for Trikala located in the centre of the town and short walk to the main square and area where there are lots of tavernas and bars.
The hotel made for a good base to explore the region. The bed was very nice and comfortable and the ac (used for heating) was great. The room was perfect for our two nights.

Beautiful city with good commercial center and places to visit, including short excursions to Meteroa and Plastira lake. The actual Christmas Park however (The Mill of the Elves) was phenomenal. If Ice Skating area was larger, the park overall is equivalent to Vienna Christmas park!

Good place with very good restaurants, but you have to ask the local people , it has plenty of places to go around the city . The only disadvantage is the bad condition of the roads inside the city , so be careful when you 're driving .

With the river in the middle of the city and all the bicycles on the streets it feels like you are in a big European capital. The locals take very good care of their city and it shows. Nice restaurants and bars, great shopping district, very beautiful historical sights. I could live there for sure!

Nice city with nice shops. During Christmas is when the city seems to be at its peak as the "Mylos twn Xotikon" is open to the public and is great for families.
The Tsitsanis and the Ottoman Bath Museums are amazing to visit and free!

A vibrant town that was great for wandering around. Not many concessions to tourists and all the better for that - you really felt you had the authentic Greek experience. In addition a number of good restaurants and excellent coffee shops. No real stand-out sights, though the old town, the castle and the mill were all worth a visit. Easy to do an excursion to Meteora as it was only about half an hour drive or train journey.

Tríkala is blessed with a progressive and expert-oriented city council. Its mayor is a figure in Greece’s urban planning scene. That makes Tríkala a very well-run city with pedways, a river walk, a beautifully restored historic core, which is also the epicenter of restaurants, cafes, and clubs, respect for its Ottoman-era monuments (Trikala features one of the most significant mosques in the region), and well-mannered drivers (stopping at crosswalks when someone is waiting to cross). Importantly, then, it’s the place to stay when you visit amazing Meteora!

The hotel is excellent value for money. Great location and excellent breakfast facilities with great variety and quality food. The air-condition was working great helping us cope with the heatwave. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were expecting a budget hotel, but it is so much above that level.
Hotel's strategic location, just a 20-minute drive from the scenic Meteora, made our exploration of the area convenient. After a day of adventure, the comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms were a welcoming retreat. A perfect choice for those wanting to experience the magic of Meteora.
Staying at this hotel was a delight, largely thanks to the incredibly kind and helpful staff. They were always there with a smile, ready to offer guidance and recommendations on local attractions. Sincere gratitude for their care and hospitality!
It was very clean and comfy, the staff was super nice, and the location is perfect, in the center, and you can reach almost everything by foot. Also the Trikala Christmas village was only 10 min walk away and the magic begins!! 🎄
