Family run and super friendly. Really clean, restaurant on site, pool, great views. The breakfast was exceptional - in all honesty, the breakfast was better than what you would get at most 5 star hotels. Over easy eggs cooked perfectly, fresh baked bread, fresh fruit, nice spicy olive oil, espresso/cappuccino, cucumbers/tomatoes.

This hotel is right along the harbour - we had a beautiful view from our room. Was super close to both ferry ports and restaurants. The staff were amazing! They helped us coordinate a taxi as well as making us a to-go breakfast for the morning the night before as we had a very early ferry. Would recommend for any other travellers passing through!

We were returning visitors and much has changed in the six years between visits, there are many more new buildings and hotels and there seems to be a load of car hire places that didn’t exist before.
Currently it is still very peaceful and quiet which might not suit everyone (particularly families?) but as someone in their mid fifties I loved the fact there was 3 shops, and 3 restaurants within I 5 minute walk from our base I didn’t need anything else but thrill seekers might be a little bored.

I think you can spend really just a day or two in this island. If you do the tour it will quickly take you through all of the big tourist areas. I would say stay in Planos since there is nightlife and you can do the beach clubs

Zakynthos has a beauty all it's own...it is by far the greenest of the islands we visited while in Greece (Mykonos, Santorini). It is a hidden gem and definitely worth exploring. It didn't seem as touristy as other places. We really enjoyed our visit!

Tragaki is more relaxed are than Tsilivi. There are some fantastic small beaches which are never too crowded. The beach bars and tavernas offer all that you need to enjoy a day at the beach. The restaurants around Tragaki are some of the best, our favourite was Amboula Beach Restaurant. With the sun going down while you enjoy your evening meal, six feet away from the gently breaking waves, it is idyllic. There are some low-key cocktail bars to enjoy as well so your night doesn't have to end too early. Overall Tragaki is a lovely place to relax, with Tsilivi just a 5 minute taxi ride away if you prefer a larger resort.

Nothing to do in Tragaki, nearest tourist spot is Tsivili which is awful. Stay away unless you like cheap looking cocktail bars, Brit-Greek food (chips and more chips), tourist crap shops and more bars.
We stayed at the hotel for a week for my wife's birthday
The hotel was amazing, the staff was very kind and helped us with everything.
In addition, the hotel is very clean, the infinity pool is spectacular and the food was excellent.
There is no doubt that this is an excellent hotel and worth the price

location was right on the beach. beach was pebbly not sandy, so great for walks! so many places to relax like the bar and grill, and hut.

The staff is very helpful, and the owner is a very kind woman. She assisted us with car rental, making the process smooth and easy. Staying at this hotel feels very cozy and welcoming. The dinner was perfect
