This small, family-run hotel is right on the beachfront with a little restaurant and cafe/bar. The rooms are small and a little outdated but clean with a nice balcony. The staff were very nice and accommodating. On the Thursday evening we were there, they had a "Greek Night" with live music and dancing. All in all, my friend and I enjoyed our stay.

* The receptionists were very nice, friendly and helpful.
* The lift.
* Free parking included. (On the street in front of the hotel... If you are lucky. Or on a dedicated parking lot approx. 200m away.)
* Sea view from the balcony is impressive.
* Very good location: Nearby beach with hotel's sunbeds (included) and only a few meters from the main street with shops and restaurants.
* Very good starting point for exploration of nearby historical sites. Mycenae, Epidaurus.

Tolo is a strip of excellent shops and tavernas parallel to the beach. We found it very convenient and all within walking distance from our hotel. We found the best place to eat was Marinos which is a little away from the beach, but there were other excellent places to eat near the beach. We particularly enjoyed our boat trip to Hydra and Spetses.
The bigger town of Nafplio had some excellent museums and shops.

Tolo is nothing but soveniers, cafe/tavernas, bars, icecreme shops - but everything is old and needes renovation.
Tolo is great for a party vacation, I guess!

In my research of Greece on the internet, Tolo was never mentioned. I was told by my neighbor and am so glad we went there. It is an amazing seaside resort that is affordable. I would definitely go back.

Tolo is an old destination.
Tolo is an old destination. But it is being rejuvenated and is very close to Nafplio and all the historical sites. Great to be next to a beach destination after a long hot day site seeing. It was also nice to have a swim in the calm safe waters first thing I. The morning before all locals and tourists arrive. A good mix of local and foreign tourists making it an authentic experience.

Tolo is Tolo....it's unique.
Tolo is Tolo....it's unique. Still a fishing village but with all the facilities you could want. Great bars, restaurants and authentic food. Sandy beach is lovely but at the weekends be prepared for an influx of visitors from Athens when Tolo really comes alive. You will find that people go back year after year from countries all over Europe. Relax at Cafe ExPress Bar.... Manolis and his family.

It was wonderwfull experience for us. Real hospitality people We have been going to Greece for many years, but we have never been welcomed like this. Accommodation is comfortable with big terrase, and nice kitchen enough large for families. You are around with plantage with oranges, real touch with nature.On the First day of our stay Owner brought us a bag of oranges. Also we got olive oil for gift. Whatever you need, they are at your service.All recommendations from us, family Gavrilovic, Greetings to Angelika and her husband! 🙂❤️
I was so impressed by the property and the staff, our stay was amazing! Super friendly and cheerful employees, they made our stay much more special! Loved the room, very clean and the beach was also lovely. It was a wonderful experience and I will never book a different hotel if I visit Tolo again.
Amazing view from room 8. Just a few steps from the beach. Lovely shower. Staff are so welcoming and lovely. Beach umbrellas and sun loungers provided for every room which is lovely. Use of beach toys, kayaks, SUP boards also available as a hotel guest.
Everything was great, the hotel met our needs to the fullest. Great parking space, great location just a few minutes from the beach. We got a huge spacious room, with a big bed, and excellent AC. We will be returning soon for sure!
The only problem with Knossos and Minoa hotels run by same family is that they are always fully booked:)
So plan ahead and you will have the most unique experience in Greece .
