The accomodation was stone built, in line with local architecture. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Friendly hostess, extremely helpful. Wooden cot provided was very comfortable for our daughter and appreciated.

After so many less than satisfactory budget accommodations, i needed this. The rooms are spacious; not that i used it much but the kitchen was properly equipped for self-catering. Even if its slightly aging, this is a decent “hotel” and the family have been running this place competently for some time. You can tell! It’s also a very short walk down to the beach and restaurants, and the gardens below the balcony are pleasant to look out on in place of a sea view. The parking is good. And so are the owners. You just feel satisfied straight away. Also the general area is good for visiting. And a couple of good supermarkets aren’t far down the highway.

Lovely modern apartment with a large balcony with a panoramic view over Stoupa. Great bed, lovely bathroom as well as all other facilities. We enjoyed some amazing sunsets from our balcony. Situated slightly above Stoupa which was perfect and an easy car ride to the beach/shops. Although we never met Maria , she was very accessible and quick to reply to queries. We would love to return.

Η κοντινή απόσταση με την παραλία της Στούπας και ότι είχε ησυχία.
A very calm & quiet resort mostly arranged around the beach.
A very calm & quiet resort mostly arranged around the beach.
A good selection of bars & tavernas, a couple are a little hidden and worth seeking out.
Staying longer than a week, to have a car for some ne of the time would be useful and places of local interest seems limited.
Tends to attract an older cliental. It felt very safe here.

A lovely small town set round a curved seafront with stunning mountains rising up behind. Sandy beach, lovely warm water, safe swimming areas marked out and a lifeguard/first aid tower on beach. Lots of rows of sunbeds, but plenty of spaces at intervals for sitting on beach. Some tavernas offer reduced prices on sunbeds if drinks/food purchased; as of June 2024 saw prices such as 10€ rental. Even relatively early in the season the town was very full of visitors, mostly British.
A great range of tavernas, bars and restaurants with food offerings to suit every budget. A lively feel to the place, lots of visitors return year after year and are known by particular restaurant owners - strongly recommend reserving a table if wanting the most popular eating places at a particular time. At the far end of the beach around the little harbour the atmosphere is very different - much quieter.
Plenty to see and do around Stoupa too, and only 50 minutes drive from Kalamata airportm

Great destination to stay if visiting Mani Peninsula.
Great destination to stay if visiting Mani Peninsula. We did day trips from here to explore the rest of southern peninsula. Friendly people and two markets on main road. We ate at Melissa Taverna. Loved the food and local atmosphere. It was rather windy so we sat inside.

Stoupa is a pretty, small village resort on the Mani Peninsula. It has two excellent beaches, one in the main centre and one set in a stunning bay. A mountain range rises up behind the coastline with little villages tucked away. There are many walks in the mountains and along the coastal path with stunning views. Stoupa has many excellent tavernas suiting everyone’s taste and you will always receive a very warm welcome.

Very crowded village with narrow roads.
Very crowded village with narrow roads. A lot of noise during the night The worst thing is the beach of Kalogria, which 10 years back was one of the best beaches in the area. Unfortunately, the cafeterias and restaurants around the beach have used all the space, using seats and umbrellas to maximize their profits. The result is very bad...

Stoupa is not what you expect, unless you've been there.
Stoupa is not what you expect, unless you've been there. It's not a Greek fisher's village with white and blue houses and wide steps leading up and up to touristy stores and restaurants. It's just a very comfortable low-profiel village on a long, curved, sandy beach. Great restaurants and tavernas.
This place is a diamond just next to a beautiful olive trees area, amazing view all around, beautiful church and quiet surroundings. The owner is a helpful, polite, smiley lady who was taking care of our comfort and everything to be a 5-star experience. Strongly recommend! Sparkling clean hotel, perfect garden, pool, free parking area, the room has everything you might need, everyday cleaning. We spent four gorgeous days there. Thank you!

Having my second week of my break after the first week being in the 5 star Costa navarino was always going to be a comedown. But it wasn’t.
Fantastic building, bed, aircon, balcony, shower facilities and lounge area. The location is brilliant, walk to great bars and tavernas, and walk to one of the best beaches in Greece. Yet quiet at night. Renna and family have done a great job.
Very clean rooms and common areas. This is a family owned hotel and the entire family is very friendly, thoughtful, and kind. They have stuff that cleans the room on a daily basis. Villa Kousta is walking distance from Stoupa beach and restaurants. Never needed to drive my car. Very satisfied with my stay.
