Good location, but far from beaches
The hotel is about a 35-minute drive from the ferry and located in a small village with several tavernas and restaurants nearby, which was convenient. Although it’s close to the sea, we didn’t swim there as it was a bit far from the well-known beaches.
The furniture and kitchen in our room were a bit outdated, but the sheets, towels, and overall cleanliness were very good. The staff was very responsive, and they answered all our questions quickly. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this hotel is a reasonable option.

Located in walking distance both from the heart of Skala Maries and also from the Atspas Beach, the studio is modernly decorated and is very confortable and cosy. It is very clean and the landlord provides changing of towels and sheets, garbage disposal and general cleaning every 2 days.
There were lots of utensils in the kitchen so we could cook breakfast or dinner, the bed was firm and extremely comfortable, the furniture and interior design were modern, the place was super clean and the hosts were nice and helpful.

If you are looking for calm and easy place to stay at, Skala Marion is the right place for you. The village is relatively small and even there are lots of tourists to stay there it does not feel crowded. There are 4-5 nice small tavernas on the very port of the village which give you a nice choice to have lunch or dinner, nice bakery too. There are 3 beaches in walking distance and probably more than 5 other in less than 10-15min with car. The two "big" towns in the island are less than 10-15min away as well ( Limenaria and Potos ). I really recommend this place if you want to stay away from crowds.

Not so great for me, I was expecting at something else.
Not so great for me, I was expecting at something else. Everything was quite expensive. For example, other friends went in Lefkada where all the beaches are really beautiful and nice, and the prices were almost the same as here. But here, I was not so impressed. I had the same locations in my country but more cheaper.

Skala Marion is on the South-Western coast, therefore you'll admire incredible sunsets. It is a village, not a town, and has a quiet atmosphere, not an effervescent vibe. There are some little shops and quite a few taverns, where you can eat fresh local food (especially fish and seafood) but also regular restaurant dishes, at a fair price. People are friendly, the three beaches (Sunset, Skala Maries and Atspas) are sandy and children-friendly, the water is clear.

We really enjoy our stay in Skala Marion, from the start the host Minos was very helpful and show us the apartment, even helped us with our bags, in the middle of our stay the apartment was cleaned and the towels changed. The apartment has everything you need, the wi-fi works really good, the location is great, a 2 minute walk from a beach with free sunbeds.
the hotel is in quite place and there is sea view from the room if you are staying on 1st or 2nd flat. the room was very clean. it is near the small village and there is Skala Maries beach just 5-7 min. away from the hotel by walking.
Skala Marion is a very nice small place when visiting Thassos. Aglaia Studios had a perfect location with view over the bay and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We had probably the nicest room with a lovely roof terasse.
The sea view was beautiful, as expected.
It was clean, had a well equipped kitchenette, the hosts are nice and polite.
A nice beach is at around 200 m from the hotel.
