A nice accommodation, suitable for a family with a baby. The staff was welcoming and did their best to meet our needs. The property is close to the beach and the port of Sami, where you can find anything you need. Kitchen well equipped for light cooking. We enjoyed the terrace as well.

Ourania's was so clean and comfortable, it feels brand new. nice large bedroom, two little balconies, little kitchenette, easy to find (1km out of Sami), Ourania was super easy as a host. The cost was the main factor, so we were really happy with such a great space for 60 euros.
The studios Stalaktites are located in the area of Drogarati, near the Drogarati Cave, and only 1.9 mi from the port of Sami.

It’s a very nice town that has a more locals living there feeling. The terrain is wonderful. Sami beach was wonderful the restaurant on Sami beach was wonderful. The acropolis of Sami was a highlight of our three week trip. The Contessa restaurant in Sami was great. And everyday we traveled to a different part of the island. Views everywhere spectacular.

Lovely small harbour town. Long beaches , with beautiful clear water. Lovely vibe in the evening peak season and could walk a few minutes along the front and have a beach to ourselves.
A couple of good bars and great restaurants.

Sami is a great location for a family holiday. Low key and traditional, maintaining its Greek heritage. Lots of family-run businesses and a popular stop for overnight yachts. Lots of very good restaurants to choose from and mini-markets for self-catering.

A quiet and rather boring village, but a very good base to access water transport to the other islands, and to enjoy the wonderful Antisamos beach and the very interisting Melissani cenote and Karavomylos karstic lake.

Sami is a small, friendly town - but it's also the main port...
Sami is a small, friendly town - but it's also the main port for the East side of the island, so it's easy to take a boat trip. It's convenient for Melissani Cave (we walked there) and Antisamos Beach (a rather longer walk). There are plenty of good places to eat, and although it is sometimes busy, it's not crowded or hectic. The beaches are pebbly, so take a pair of beach shoes. The water is incredible - the sea is crystal clear and wonderful to swim in.

The owners and staff at the Sami Beach Hotel could not have done more to make us feel welcome and for our stay to be as enjoyable as possible. This was our first visit,but many couples had been coming for many years, which speaks for itself.
The hotel itself does not have a restaurant open in the evenings, but there are plenty of local tavernas within walking distance. There was a good selection of home produced food for breakfast. The outside bar is the main focal point of the hotel, which has a stunning outlook.
The location is great, it is a really good place to be near Sami in Kefalonia. The apartment was really clean and spacious. There are two balconies with a nice view. There is a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a living room. The apartment is really comfortable and you have everything you need. The house is also really beautiful. I liked this accommodation very much.
The property was exceptionally comfortable with a beautiful view from the balcony. It was about 25 minutes walk from the centre of Sami and 15 minutes from the nearest shop, which for the price of the property I found reasonable.
Very nice place in the centre of Sami near the port close to city center and also to a couple of sami beaches. Melissani staff was super nice and very helpful. The room was also very nice calm and clean. Totally recommended
