The lovely people who work there and the adorable cats really make the experience perfect. We would even suggest some organized shelter and feeding stations for the cats over the winter, since they are so cute and friendly and everybody seems to love them.
Everything is very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed a very relaxing week.

The road to Potos is amazing, the location is beautiful, the hosts are excellent, but the local authorities do not seem to care too much to preserve the traditional places or local architecture. The streets are destroyed and full of dust, many houses or buildings are in ruins.
The beaches are small and crowded, too small for the number of tourists from the city.
On the other hand, there are very good restaurants (Poseidon, Irene, etc), where the food is very fresh, big size, and the services pretty good.
All in all is good. The local hosts and good restaurants make the difference.

I can only say I've made a good choice. Potos has good tavernas, nice beach with good beach bars. Enough entertainment for the kid and us adults.
I would not necessarily recommend the two most busy taverna's: Irene and Poseidon. The food was a bit close to mediocre in both locations. At Irene's I liked the cheese dip and the tomato soup. From Poseidon nothing stood up. Don't get me wrong, the food is ok the service is fast -- almost to fast. At Irene's you feel like in a train station and the stuffs runs all over like 'headless chickens'... it's like in an McDo... but with home meals.
I hope they finish the road works in Potos for the next season. There was a lot of dust.

Very nice place. Lots of flowers everywhere. Extremely tasty food almost everywhere. We recommend Taverna Laskarina. The most delicious seafood we have ever eaten!
Lots of playgrounds for kids.
We did not like the fact that cars pass everywhere. There is no street only for pedestrians. Its very hard to find parking space especially when you have a big car. Very busy traffic on weekends.

What is absolutely insane? The whole city and the beach are "HAUNTED" by stray cats. These cats are very bold... without any fear - they steal your food from the plate...

Out favourite beach was crystal blue - very clean, nice water, beautiful sunsets.

Potos, same like other all cities in Thassos is a good place to go for relax,
Is good to choose to stay there because from Potos you can go to visit left or right side of island because city is palaced on the oposite side of Limenas.
Very nice and green complex with only 6 units. Garden is very well maintained. The pool is large and almost always empty. The bungalow was spacious and equipped with everything you might need. The rooms are cleaned regularly and towels were exchanged every 2 days. It is located just outside of Potos where there is a large market with everything you might need, and also close to some really nice beaches. WiFi was excellent in the whole complex.
Everything was just great! The hosts were super friendly and helpful, the placement was in the middle of Potos, 3 minutes to the beach and right in the center. NexT to the propriety there is a supermarket from where you can buy whatever you want. Also, we had our Dog with us and they were so open and friendly with him. All in all, I loved to stay at Balkan Haus, a clean and amazing place where to spend your holiday!
Perfect place for holiday. That boutique hotel is managed by people who knows what I is high level of hospitality. They have very professional staff . Every detail in this hotel is well designed and classy. Breakfast in room is diversified and healthy. Good quality food products. Very good Chef of restaurant . One of the best hotels in my life really worth of recommendations.
The room was very clean and though it was so close to the central pedestrian road that leads to the beach it was very quiet. Parking also was available all the time and made our stay generally really comfortable. The host also is very helpful and available for assisting with information when required. I would definitely visit the place again.
The only good thing I found about Kamari was their pool (which was far from clean, especially in the kids section - for our full 10 days stay, we never saw someone cleaning the bottom of the pool) and their good location near the beach and near Potos. Imagine our experience if the 'dirty' pool was one of the good things.
Very good location, next to a nice sandy beach. Hotel is ok, rooms are clean and have everything needed. The owner Michalis is an exceptional host- he and his team will make you feel like home! The food.in thw restaurant is verry good, probably the best in the area as we tested several other restaurant, this was top.
Regular cleaning, room with all you need for your stay and a really spacious yard around the appartments so it is a pleasant stay. Everything is close, the beach, center and etc. though you need to cross a street so be careful. Host is really welcoming and helpful so kudos to that.

Sotiria was the best host we had in Greece so far. Her villa is very beautiful and modern, exceptionally clean and she is very careful to all the details and all your needs. The place is really outstanding! For us it was a 10+! We'll return for sure!
